the metal table leg collects interference from the wiring in your wall
I'm gonna stop at this point.
Do you ever heard about pubic hair electromagnetic interference?
About legs btw, its true, human legs steps could cause monitor bootup from standby, so metal table legs sure can collect something for sure
that's why girl gamers and twitch streamers (girls) don't have this problem, they shave that damn hair everywhere(
except for the head) and don't have any problems.
Not sure if it's related but for sure skin moisture and air humidity are definitely one of the most important factors. I forgot to mention one thing that happened to me in the past. I was in the kitchen listening to music on my computer. When I sat down at the computer the bass in the music was halved and I was little bit confused. Someone here mentioned earlier that when someone else uses their computer, it's as if all the problems suddenly disappear. I can confirm this 99% because I still have to have that 1% uncertainty that it was just an unbelievable coincidence. When I take over my computer that was used by my girlfriend or her brother, the fluidity and responsiveness of my computer is astonishing and lasts about 30 minutes.
Some pseudoscientists without basic electrical knowledge claim here that it's the interference from wall cabling. Their arrogance and ignorance amazes me. I cannot understand how one can be so stubborn in this belief without any scientific research and at the same time be able to refute it with one simple argument - it happened to me EVERYWHERE. It must be some kind of denial syndrome, because when someone rejects simple conclusions from probability theory, I don't see any other possibility.
I am not able to measure what exactly is happening to my body, because it is beyond my capabilities and finances, but I would not write so much text to troll. This can be explained in some way by the laws of physics and by experiment. If I have experienced this problem for more than 10 years, in every game, always to the same extent, by deduction one can conclude that it may indeed be related to static electricity.
PS. I don't know if anyone has noticed this before, but the place where I usually stay gathers a lot of dust very quickly.

Scientific basis - this happened to me everywhere.
You don't know how to use electrical testers - can't buy a cheap tester for $20
video for that clown, so that he understands what he did.

If you live in a private house you can build yourself a ground (antistatic wrist strap) which will be directly connected to the earth, if you live in an apartment be careful because the ground in apartments is usually more noisy.

This is the only explanation to this issue. A lot of fixes reduce the problem but its never consistent. If anyone regularly plays cs2 LAN events like me then you can clearly tell that the input lag carries on to the tournament PC. People will say the peripherals are infected. Try giving your mouse to one of your teammates and you will realize its not the case as well. Our bodies infect every single PC with this issue. If anyone still doesn't agree with this then I can easily assume that they don't play offline tournaments. Everything points to this cause and this cause only. Now we need someone to help us solve this.

Of course this is the only one explanation. My current fix for this is:
- grounded anti-static wrist wrap on your right and left hand,
- feet on a grounded aluminium plate, can be 1-2mm thick, 300x400 mm,
- as static electricity can charge rubber insulator, I recommend grounding mouse and keyboard cables too,
- mousepad made of a material that generates as little static as possible, vinyl ones are not recommended,
- avoid polyester clothing.
With almost similar setup I fixed my desync in 60-70%. I definitely see a room for improvement.

Before that "trick" I could barely get 10 kills. I was dying instantly and one day everything has changed. Now every day I can provide you 3-4 screenshots with similar stats. This phenomenon must have a particularly strong effect on electronics in some people, and I haven't found any research online that could explain it. Despite this, you can find hundreds of posts in the Internet suggesting that someone suspects that they are somehow damaging electronic equipment, such as a printer or monitor, when they are nearby. There are also people who cannot wear battery-powered watches because they discharge much faster than they should. I don't think people make up stories like that, on the contrary, there must be something to it. I think it could be a good topic for a master's thesis and indeed help for a big amount of players who are helpless.

I have wireless peripherals and a gaming laptop. The sad part is, our electricity is not grounded. There are no grounded outlets.
