You can search for the development history of Linux and you'll find that, as operating systems have evolved to this day, Linux and Apple's systems have almost the same underlying logic for handling external input, and the same goes for Windows.MK92 wrote: ↑05 Nov 2025, 04:17I'ts not Micorsoft of course, because its exactly the same on Linux as well, and I've even tried ancient Windows XP and it was still the same.
What do you mean disconnected UPS? You cannot get realistic results from those 5 minutes of usage on a battery.BumFlannel wrote: ↑04 Nov 2025, 22:45So why do issues remain on a UPS while fully disconnected from the mains/grid?
Fine then it's not, now keep on moving cables and ports around, buy 10 new PCs and monitors, try another 100 useless software and BIOS "tweaks" that you will find on this forum. And then maybe after another 5 years, you will accept the facts that electricity absolutely is the culprit, and that you cannot do anything about it beside moving to a location where the grid is not overloaded and riddled with interharmonics.Slender wrote: ↑05 Nov 2025, 03:28because that not electricityBumFlannel wrote: ↑04 Nov 2025, 22:45So why do issues remain on a UPS while fully disconnected from the mains/grid?

This seems to be right. Had same experience and I just tried playing at 8 AM. I rarely ever play during this time. Whole hour it was great. Right around Nine 9 AM it started getting worse all of sudden. I tracked my scores. Last game, half the match took place after 9 I felt the input lag and desync on the dot. Bullets took longer to kill. Dying super fast, aim harder to control etc. But still, the lag was less so in the morning in general. I often play around 4 to 12 am. And you are right. It is when the lag and desync is at its worse.
