I've tried numerous other settings & reset my bios etc.
The only noticeable difference was putting my mouse polling rate to 125hz instead of the usual 1k/4k. This is quite exactly what i've been trying to chase. It feels snappy, like I can put my crosshair exactly where I want it to be. Obvly at 360hz it feels like ur missing out on the smoothness, but it made it feel floaty aswell. Only thing I can think of is that I'm having a USB interrupt problem, maybe an extra pcie card would help.

I have the same issue with my new high end build and it's frustrating not being able to enjoy it anymore, cause it feels very delayed and with very high input lag, there is zero enjoyment in tracking.(7800X3D)

my low end budget gaming PC didn't have this problem, nor does my laptop with an i5 9200U and 940mx, the tracking is very sharp, even on my underclocked 9900K, it's related to electricity or your power grid, cause downgrading solves the problem.

I'm trying a double ups, otherwise I'm downgrading again.

And do you still have the laptop to test whether it still works well there?
No, I sadly broke it after testing out various liquid metal experiments.
Ask emc test labs to where you can get this builded , or just ask reputable transformer manufacterers.
Send them this:

Hello,

We would like to request a quotation for a special isolation transformer of approximately 1 kVA, intended for EMC measurement applications.

Application:

Isolation of sensitive equipment and use in EMC test setups

Transformer Type:

Split-bobbin construction (toroidal designs are not acceptable)

Technical Requirements

A copper-foil electrostatic shield shall be placed between the primary and secondary windings.

The shield must not be connected to the core; it shall be brought out as a separate terminal.

The magnetic core must be fully insulated from the windings and the electrostatic shield (core-to-winding capacitive coupling should be minimized).

Primary-to-secondary capacitance shall be kept as low as possible, with a target value of < 5 pF.

The secondary winding must remain completely floating; terminals shall be labeled only, with no connection to earth or neutral.

The transformer shall be installed inside a metal enclosure / magnetic shielding housing.

No soft-start circuitry is required.

Required Test Data / Reporting

Primary-to-secondary leakage current / common-mode leakage, both RMS and peak-to-peak

Inter-winding capacitance measurements, at 100 kHz and preferably also at 1 MHz

If available, measurement of core-to-winding capacitive leakage may also be included in the report

Could you please confirm whether you can manufacture a transformer meeting these specifications?
We would also appreciate preliminary information regarding lead time and pricing.

Thank you.

It shouldn't cost much , 300-500 dollars im guessing

Created an account on here just to respond to this post. Like you I have searched countless times here, there and everywhere. Eventually gave up. You do however not need optimisation, especially paid. Everything those guys do is out there for free on the web. Unfortunately I don't have a solution for you but some things to note:

Did your laptop run a different version of Windows? I remember the good days of Windows 7 and every gunfight being super fair and responsive despite averaging maybe 60-100fps back then.

As you have upgraded PC, presumably you are using the motherboards NIC? And possibly onboard audio? If overclocking/undervolting isn't helping, you could try looking into disabling both of those and see if your aimlabs/kovaaks feels better? You've played enough to know when something is off and when it's just your aim so you can decide then if that's an issue.

Another thing. You have mice that run above 1k polling rate? I use 9800x3d with slightly tuned ram and a 9070 XT, sit at 600fps solid in Overwatch but using a Lamzu Maya X even at 2k gives fps drops for me. Again you could try 500hz/1000hz and see if that feels any better for you.

Finally your ram timings and speeds look a little odd? Obviously not the best ram to begin with at CL36 but "apparently" isn't a dealbreaker on 9800x3d with the L3 cache. It's interesting that your ram with XMP disabled uses the standard 1.25v VSOC and 1.43 VDD/Q but with XMP enabled/tuned ram you drop to 1.15v VSOC and 1.35v VDD/Q. Have you tested your ram fully to check for errors? tRFC and tREFI are both very loose too but I don't think that would be your issue.

That's everything I've got for you I'm afraid. No clear solution and none of the above may even help at all. Personally I've tried using PBO, undervolting manually, EXPO/manually tuning ram. Disabling all sorts in the BIOS. Debloating Windows 11, removing/disabling gamebar presence writer, services, registry tweaks, which eventually it does more harm than good. Default Windows actually feels better. Router with QoS + Cat8 shielded cable. Various mice and pads. No miracles were found. Quit competitive shooters and put it down to age and the average gamer being better than 5 years ago.

I've been experiencing this. I've tried every fix to no avail. I demoted 11 + times and I'm still losing even in Gold/Silver lobbies. I did a DNS flush during a game one day after not doing one for a while and suddenly all of my shots registered and no one looked like they were 4x the normal speed. I got accused of cheating by everyone in the lobby because I dropped 50 kills. It reminded me of how the game felt when I played at my old home before I moved to this apartment. A lot has changed since then. I'm still on the same ISP but they have changed a lot of their plans and feautures. They silently took away my QoS for my desktop and moved it to a higher plan without telling me. They also implemented a docsis 3.1 mid split update to my apartment complex and I'm still running on coaxial cables from 2008 that might not even be quad shield. I get a lot of random packet loss mid game even when I'm connected by ethernt cable directly into my XB8-T. Xfinity also DNS hijacks so after a day of playing on googles DNS my connection went back to being dogshit again. I tried to manually change my DNS in windows registry and it won't allow me to do so, the XB8-T somehow has made it impossible for me to change my DNS so when I do switch to googles DNS or cloudflare my ISP just reroutes it again which causes even more issues.

I've also noticed that Xfinity and many other ISPs are blocking Riot's Vanguard TPM requests to the Azure Cloud servers. This started to happen in August of 2023. Windows 11 users who played Valorant were now at a major disadvantage because Riot's Vanguard will spam your TPM every second during the game to make sure it's attestation ready. The issue with that is Microsoft Azure Cloud servers also cannot handle the constant handshake request from Riot's Anti-Cheat. The end result is that Riot will see you have a working TPM but once the game starts it will desync you from the server if it cannot maintain a continuous TPM handshake. If you have very unstable internet, electromagnetic interferrences, outdated BIOS firmware, outdated chipset or if Microsoft is blocking your Azure Cloud access then you will become a victim to this and you won't even know it. The funny thing is that sometimes Vanguard will rehook onto the handshake mid match and you will suddenly get a kill so you wont feel like anything is wrong or you wont be able to pinpoint why the game feels off because there are moments where it will come back for a few seconds. I tested this by retstarting my PC, logging into Valorant, started a TDM before I got spam pinged with TPM event 14 errors in windows event viewer and I was straight shitting on everyone, everyone felt like bots, super slow movement compared to the nonstop running headshots I deal with due to the desync. Then all of a sudden out of no where I got a major CPU spike and CPU wait GPU spike on my graph all at once and I lost all of my frames and died for that brief second. The moment I respawned it was back to the usual desync, everyone shitting on my face, couldn't hit a shot on anyone, everyone sees me a full second before I see them bullshit. So I tested it again. I restarted my PC queued back up before I got the TPM errors and the exact same thing happened. Destroyed everyone and then got hit with the 0 FPS, CPU wait GPU, CPU spike on the graph followed by perpetual desync for the entire game. The spikes also coincided with the exact time on my event viewer with the TPM errors. I'm certain that it is Vanguard causing the desync and this is the sole reason.

My issue started the exact day those Azure cloud servers were implemented by Microsoft. That same day was the day Vanguard started to hook into them for better match integrity. I've been unable to get back to my normal rank since then. My headshot % dropped by 40% as well so I'm assuming that Vanguard probably thinks its doing a good job when the reality is it has completely destroyed the ability for legit players to play the game. I also had a different PC back in 2023 but my CPU had a fTPM (i9900k). My current setup is a 9800X3D, Sapphire Nitro+ RX 9070 XT OC 16GB, Asus Rog Strix X870E-E Gaming Wifi motherboard, 32GB GSkill Trident Z5 Neo RGB Series DDR5 (AMD) Expo 6000MT/s and a WD Black M.2 NVME Gen4 PCIE. I've tweaked my system every possible way, tried playing overclocked, tried playing with no oc on balanced power, hags, no hags, game mode on and off, you know the deal. Tried it all. Afterburner undefined, tried different priorities. I'm extremely inclined to believe it is the TPM issue at this point. It's the extremely aggressive use of their anti cheat that is also destroying my Ryzen 9800X3D's fTPM by spamming handshakes with it until it gets timed out by Windows and the Azure cloud servers. You will notice a lot of newer OEMs are pushing AEGSA updates to counter the TPM issues but they aren't working. AMD also did something without telling anyone but they pushed an update on everyones CPUs to disable certs to their fTPM. They tried to send bios updates to fix this but a lot of them are not working. AMD has silently bricked all of their high end AMD CPUs and they do not want to refund the thousands of people they have completely screwed over.

Dude, hey. What do Microsoft and AMD have to do with this? Everyone uses Windows, and a lot of people use AMD. Other people don't have any issues at all. Stop looking for a problem where it doesn't exist. For almost 20 years (and this issue is definitely about 20 years old), nobody has ever found the cause. And they probably won't find it for another 20 years. The very few people who managed to fix it did so by moving to a new place and buying a new PC. That's the only way. And we are talking about just a handful of people.Just look at how the game can run without this issue for a Russlan guy on a 7800x3d and 4060.
https://youtu.be/UD6xOX9zZBE?si=8WgNx5ircF6ZCTqI
He faces 2 or 3 enemies, they see him, and they literally miss every single shot. What kind of competition or esport are we talking about when the game works like that for some people, while for others, shots from behind literally don't register, or the enemy kills you before even appearing around the corner? It's a joke. Just give up or change everything (your city, house, and PC).

there is a lot of truths in what you are saying, it reminded me of nightmares time back in 2023 when i had a R9 7950X and i was playing tons of Valorant.

After I noticed the same symptoms as you, i started to see more and more that after launching Valorant for some reasons i would get dozens of WHEA hardware error linked to fTPM. Usually it would spawns 6 exact same errors at a time in a same second (you can check it in event viewers) so after a couple of hours i would get THOUSANDS of TPM errors in Windows Event Viewer with a description of "hardware defect, please contact the manufacturer blabla".

Sometimes i would get kicked out mid match and couldn’t rejoin in game due to that issue, usually i would also hear a windows unplug noise before this occured (when i looked in event viewer it was also linked to TPM but listed as critical so another type of TPM error)

I tried literally everything until I lost hope and contacted AMD to explain my issue, they requested that i send my CPU so they could do additional testing.

Literally same day it was delivered i received an email saying that i would get a new CPU replacement. I emailed them back asking if they could replicate my issues, and they responded that in their initial testing they found the fTPM part of my CPU was completely kaput.

I want to start my story from the very beginning. I bought my first desktop PC in 2016. It had a GTX 1060 6GB, an i5-7400, a 240GB SSD, and a 144Hz monitor. In CS:GO, playing on the Faceit platform, I was around 1900–2000 ELO and getting 30–40 kills almost every match. I was literally getting bored of killing opponents because the games felt incredibly easy; people simply couldn’t react to me.

After 4–5 years, my computer started to struggle and I had no choice but to upgrade. I switched to a system with a Ryzen 9 5900X, RTX 3080, and a 240Hz monitor—and that’s exactly where the nightmare began. On the first day, almost everything felt perfect, but there were a few things that made me uncomfortable. Even on the desktop, I noticed that the mouse cursor was jittering and leaving a trail behind it. I thought it was probably because of 240Hz and didn’t think much of it.

The next day, I realized that everything had gotten even worse. I could no longer react to anyone, and I was averaging only 10–15 kills per match. I endured this pain for 4–5 years. Then, about 2–3 months ago, I upgraded again to a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, RTX 4060, and an MSI B850 Gaming Plus motherboard. On the first day, when I tested Valorant, I thought, “That’s it, this problem is finally solved,” because everything felt incredibly smooth and latency-free. The game felt like it was gliding.

But on the second day, the problem came back. The game feels like it’s about to be smooth, but it never fully is—as if I’m playing at 120Hz instead of 240Hz. There are occasional stutters, and a serious loss of mouse precision and consistency. At this point, I think I’m starting to give up, because there is no method or optimization I haven’t tried. I’ve tried everything, and I feel like I’m finally at the point of truly giving up.

Sorry for my English, I had to use a translation.
Could you give the date (year and month) if it's possible because what you are describing is litteraly the same scenario as me. I was playing Minecraft and on cube craft with lot of kills and one day (September or november 2020), the game felt weird. I could not clutch, not getting kills like before. I thought I was just bad, but it continued...
Even with new laptops. I moved to a new house and it is still the same feeling. When i'll back home. I'll try to go back to old windows versions or to clean drivers of my mouse.
I have not changed anything in the BIOS, it would be weird if the problème was on 3 different laptop with different motherboards.

Sry for my english.
