I’m a former immo 3 player. Ever since this issue started, my rank has dropped drastically.

I don’t care about mouse feel or peripherals anymore — I just want this fixed.
It feels like I’m always 0.5 to 1 second behind the server.
When I see an enemy, I literally have no time to react.

I’ve tried:
UPS
EMI/RFI filters
Countless PC and system tweaks
None of them helped.
I’ve tested:
2 different ISPs
4 different PCs

The issue persists across all of them.
If you can actually solve this problem, I’m offering a $200 reward.

Hello what is your display model reference ? Resolution and frequency ? And your graphic card ? Do you use hdmi or display port cable ? Did you use the screen default cable that came with the box or random amazon cable ?

If you've tried 4 different systems and 2 different ISP, I think you need to come to terms with you're not as good as you once were, or think you currently are.

It's very hard to maintain high ranks in games, as the top players are usually grinding the games like a full time job every day of the week. If you're not doing the same, don't expect to compete at that level anymore, unless you're very naturally gifted. And there's always newer and younger players constantly coming out joining the mix.

Unless you dropped from top 20 to bronze rank, sounds like your skill/dedication dropped more than some mysterious ghost ruining your PC setups.

And my advice to people reading this, think twice before wasting your time on these type of reward threads. This guy essentially wants you to waste hours of your time for free and only pay if his "problem" is "solved". I got sucked into one of these "reward to fix" on Reddit a long time ago and knew exactly how to fix a much simpler problem the user was having. Told them the fix, ghosted with no replies afterwards. Granted it was only $20 and a few minutes of time.
Yeah, what if it happend 2 weeks after switching? i genuinely cannot play at the level I used to. Now it's been a year later and I have almost stopped trying completely.

what you described is not possible, unless you are playing at exactly 2 frames per second. However, i believe you, you probably just failed to describe it properly. i will double it to 400$ if someone was able to help you

Sadly it was a routing issue to Valorant's server for me (Singapore). It all started when they merged Sg1 and Sg2 together where the game server can't keep track of my character's position so everyone, I mean everyone from Silvers to Plats are always shooting my shadow and I insta die on my screen.

No perma fix, I changed ISP, hardware, placebo fixes by myself and by some on the forum and none worked. The only temporary way to play for me is to use Cloudflare Warp (You have to use 1.1.1.1 with warp enabled). I say temporary because my ping is super volatile and random throughout the day using Cloudflare Warp, but no behind the server, die in 0.5s bullsh*t anymore. Only Valorant has this issue, CS2 is fine and I am very consistent destroying enemies left and right (CS stats: https://csrep.gg/player/76561198856973441).

Riot propped up Valorant to be the "CS killer" meanwhile they can't even get their servers to work right. Guess they only care for other regions since SEA has always been shit.

Are you sure it's not higher ping alone making it better with VPN?

Not much different in ms just 3-5ms rtt, but enemy movements and shots register way better than my ISP's default route.

Yesterday i finally fixed my input lag / desync / “heavy, floaty mouse” issue — and it turned out to be something I didn’t expect at all: my electrical wiring.

I opened my junction boxes and wall outlets and found loose connections and some old, dirty WAGO connectors. A few wires weren’t properly secured, which likely caused small instability in power delivery. I cleaned things up, replaced the worn connectors, and made sure everything was tightly and correctly connected.

After that, the difference was immediate — smooth input, no more floaty feeling, and everything feels responsive again.

If you’ve tried all the usual software and hardware fixes with no success, it might be worth checking your electrical connections. Bad or loose wiring can cause subtle issues that are easy to overlook.

Everything is ok since then...
