I've already explained this in my previous comment but none of the tweaks that you do that temporarily help you actually address the underlying problem. What you are essentially doing when you are applying random tweaks is altering the behavior of your PC by messing with Windows kernel and system configuration, timer sources, thread scheduling, interrupt/DPC behavior, power-management states, driver behavior, etc. This will mess everything up including how long it takes for your opponents to react to you and is a form of cheating, which is one of the reasons why you are not allowed to mess with any of this in LAN/tournaments.simon wrote: ↑04 Sep 2026, 11:39I agree it's everywhere and you carry it into the server with you and it affects how others see and hit you as well.
If it's good for you then other players see you as fast and unhittable. Someone always gets advantage or priority in the server and it's possible to "steal it" from others by doing changes to your pc or something else. Sometimes it comes by itself, like at night. Maybe because more players who have this problem play at night. Who have it worse than you, so you get it to yourself.
This theory would suggest that from certain point on skill doesn't matter anymore and it's all fight for the advantage.
So, those who think they were once good and now the game got shit and they can't play anymore - no, the game allowed you to be good back then and now it doesn't. You lost something that gave the priority/advantage. You were not faster than others or something lol.
Pro players becoming noobs is exactly that. They were never pros, just the game allowed them to get the kills. Now it doesn't anymore and other players have the advantage.
Why do you keep repeating yourself? You already said this we get it you have the same problem as we do. What progress do you make by constantly whining?astroasis wrote: ↑05 Sep 2026, 16:14I saw it in cs2 dm the other week. My base movement speed changed multiple times in one match, I flew out of bounds then my game was sped up and was fully synced, perfect mouse and keyboard inputs, zero input lag, one taps, picture quality perfect. Obviously I'm never allowed that consistency
Nope, I don't agree, male gigolo. The majority (like 95%) as you say are in the average range, their game is not too good and neither too bad. The "issue" affects 100% of the players 100% of the time, just the severity is usually/mostly average.MaleGigolo wrote: ↑05 Sep 2026, 12:13I've already explained this in my previous comment but none of the tweaks that you do that temporarily help you actually address the underlying problem. Sorry but your theory is ridiculous. Most gamers like 95% of them do not have this problem. Your reaction time, skill and time spent practicing playing games are your limiting factor not when Microsoft decides to give you consistent gameplay.
Why are you playing against 80 year olds? Are you in retirement home? The stuff you will read in this forum...simon wrote: ↑06 Sep 2026, 13:32Nope, I don't agree, male gigolo. The guy who said it's like 150%, yeah, you're unstoppable when it's right. And no, it's not skill, it's when you have enourmos advantage over others.
I've had 80 year olds beat me because their game ran perfectly. Skill and hardware don't matter from the point when you know the game well enough. Your reaction time and mouse movement precision is decided by the game, not because you were born to be "a pro gamer" lol
But aren't the symptoms of this "problem" similar to those results by windows tweaks? Meaning that maybe one part of this "problem" is your OS.MaleGigolo wrote: ↑05 Sep 2026, 12:13I've already explained this in my previous comment but none of the tweaks that you do that temporarily help you actually address the underlying problem.
