If you own Dungeon Defenders and can make it work, be my guest. I changed the setting in all 4 files to false, changed the max framerate to 122, made them read-only, and it still acts like I did nothing. I don't see any other options here.

I realize you quoted another source, but Dead Space needs to be removed from that list. It runs for me at 2560x1440 at 110hz, 2880x1620 at 94hz, and 3200x1800 at 86hz. Vsync is set to off in-game, but I always use Adaptive or On settings from the NVIDIA Control Panel anyway.

If there is anything to complain about as far as Dead Space goes, its that it won't run at 4K or 3600x2025 from the menu, even though a lot of other games do.

Also, from the list in post #1, NFS: Most Wanted came out in October of 2012.

Thanks guys.
Since I'm on a potato computer I can't really test all these games myself. I plan on building a decent computer in the upcoming months tho.

Keep them coming! The more info we gather, the sooner we can try to have a positive influence on game developers.

edit: added the info for NFS and removed dead space from my post.

edit2: added information on Skyrim in my first post.

Perhaps maybe there should be a Hall of Fame thread to rub this in even more? That and it would also give the gaming community a list of games that won't require any tweaking out of the box.

Requirements
- 120hz and 144hz without any tweaks
- 3840x2160 or higher without any tweaks
- Multi-Monitor Surround/Eyefinity without any tweaks
- in-game AA Options (FXAA only shouldn't count)

What do you think?

Now that i think about it, games running at 60 FPS wouldnt be a problem if we were all still using CRT as far as fluidity goes imo but the fact that LCD are the norm now is the reason why we need to aim at lightboost compatible frequency . . .

Sorry but I could not disagree more.
2 reasons:

1)The higher the frequency, the better the fluidity. And 60 images per second is really not much in that matter.
2)A CRT at 60Hz is a flickering hell. No one should ever settle for that.

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag has already been mentioned, but it's not just the frame rate that's locked, the aspect ratio is as well:

I had to create a custom resolution (2880x1620 at 60Hz) to get proper VSYNC, and running at 60Hz on a pulsed display is no fun. This is not just a bother to the crazies clinging to their ancient CRTs, anyone with a 16x10 monitor gets letterboxing. And to get proper triple buffering, you have to Ctrl-Alt-Del out of the game and come back in.

It's incredible that this stuff keeps happening, so it's good we have this thread.

I also agree with Haste, 60 FPS simply isn't good enough. Playing an uncapped game afterwards was a huge relief.

Here's a weird one: Hard Reset.

I just started playing this, and after AC4, was absolutely thrilled that a PC game supported 4:3 resolutions and high refresh rates, but I noticed right away there was judder whenever I was moving around, even though the frame rate was locked at the refresh rate. Mouse movement is totally fine, but any camera translation (left, right, forward, or back) seems to update the camera at only 60Hz.

This means I can't read any text, billboards, etc, if I'm moving. I just see a double image smear. Can anyone confirm this or offer any suggestions to fix it? The only solution I have now is to run the game at 60Hz, which puts me back into Ubisoft territory.
