How is the XL2746S vs MSI MAG251RX or vs VG279QM?

got mine today. its AWESOME!!!!

the only complain i have is you cannot use SSwitch to switch between profiles that have Dyac off to on. It rejects for some reason and push you back to the previous profile. But switching from Dyac on to off is not a problem. I reached out to BENQ, lets see what will come back.

I'm quite aware the CRT is the best monitor in existence. I still have my 2 trinitrons but they both died on me last year and I was told by the community that the xl2546 dyac is the closest possible thing.

I've had that now for a year and I like it. I'm used to the shitty color and terrible viewing angles and enjoy the speed.

The question is... is going to the xl2746S worth the 350 dollars more (I'll sell my 2546)..

What do you guys think?

27 inchs sounds sick... and does it have less input lag with dyac I heard? colors and angles still terrible right?

DyAc is strobing, and strobing allways cause added input lag Vs the same config without strobing. Is the collateral damage of motion blur reduction in LCD.

XL2746S can strobe 182Hz with good quality, low crosstalk and decent brightness. ( Not true, edited bottom -> But at lower frequencies with strobe is not recommended, very high crosstalk, so is better Viewsonix XG270 if main target is 100-125 FPS/Hz range Strobing-On Vsync-On )

For pure performance at maximun frequency non strobed, right XL2746S, current fastest TN still has a bit of advantage in RAW speed Vs current fastest IPS.

EDIT: Comment about XL2746S doing bad strobing performance under 182Hz is not true. Recent Dirty Scrubz high quality DyAc+ review show in video that my grong comment was based on Firefox bug during Ufo test.

Right. I have the xl2546 in front of me.

I haven't seen any input lag increase since I've customized it to have the crosstalk right beneath the crosshair.

I'm going for 240hz and 240fps... I would never go down to 120 hz again...

Just wondering if the xl27S is worth the additional 300.

i got xl2746s , its really good monitor for first shooters game , i have pg258q asusu and laggy in games but this beast xl2746s forces me to Tame it
