PS: I'm gonna grab an R5 5600x and a RX 6700xt to increase those FPS soon.
Best advice i can give you is to keep your setup and monitor. That dell 240Hz should be very good and upgrading to 390 wouldn't be a big difference. Wait a couple more years for something even better.

I just got the Dell one, same panel as AW2521HF I had one year ago, definitely faster in motion blur. So I was thinking on returning this one and get the acer 390hz since I cant TN panels anymore (XL2546K) and the motion blur reduction on this monitor seems to be on pair with DyAc.
But probably wont benefit from input lag since the AW2521HF is 2ms ish reported on rtings and definitely not going to hit 390hz on 99% games. Also I'm not sure how MBR would work on low framerates.
Thanks for your thoughts mate

Aren’t these new IPS panels better than the old 240 Hz ones? I thought that this 390 Hz monitor was also substantially better than the 360 Hz monitors in terms of the motion blur. Also, the extra 150 Hz should be substantial (but only really if he can get those frames in games).

I don't know if it's worth it to upgrade from 240 hz, but I upgraded from 144 hz (aoc 24G2U) and the difference is massive in csgo. The monitor is great, everything looks so much clearer. The AOC felt laggy in CS, this is smooth af.

Will this monitor perform good on console too? I mostly play on PC but sometimes play on console. My current monitor (VG259QM) has really high input lag on 60Hz. The other 360Hz monitors look to have pretty standard input lag on 60Hz. Should this be similar? I wish Rtings reviewed it.

I changed to 60 hz to try and everything felt pretty much instant for me, so I don't think you have to be worried

Be sure to vote for it to be reviewed on their website. I too am debating whether I should wait for these objective measurements or just buy it and try it.

I need to test it again with Time Sleuth 60hz lag tester but from what I remember it was around 10-12ms in 60hz 1080p which is standard fare. don't buy it for the 60hz scanout thats for sure.

Do you have any numbers for the lag at 390 Hz compared to any other top monitors?
