Guys, try to unplug your psu power cable and then press the power button of your pc for 20sec or so (to unload all residual current) then replug the power cable and start a game.

For me it works everytime, the first game after doing this feel smooth and everything register but it quickly deterior...
Thats why (in my case) i'm pretty sure it has something to do with electricity. But i'm not an engineer in that particular domain, some people already pointed reactive current and such things but its unknow for me. Maybe it has something to do with the capacitors beeing loaded in bad current...

Hey there busters,

For my first post I don't even know what to start with, but I will just give it a try and tell you my story.

After all these years and hundreds of hours of reading at different forums I haven't found a permanent fix yet. My problem is mostly hitreg instability along with desync and lag compensation issues during enemy spotting and rifle spraying if that makes any sense. Furthermore, I can't really say I have input lag, but as you pointed out earlier I also experience the first two rounds all working great thing and afterwards rubbish.

I wanted to make my post on this thread because I read that many of you tried connecting your setup in a different location but with no difference. As hard as it was also for me to believe that it would change anything I decided to unplug everything from my place and plug it in my best buddy's office. A minute after connecting to a matchmaking server I couldn't believe the game was running smooth as a butter. I stayed there for hours and noticed no downfall considering the issue mentioned before. Everything was working like a dream.

So now back to my place no matter how much different parameters I change or try to tweak on bios, hundreds windows installations, nvcp, in-game settings, steam settings, edgerouter x, UPS I see no effect. Another interesting thing I experienced was that after creating a new steam account and buying the game the newer account was definitely running better on every server even faceit although my config files on both accounts were exactly the same. On another topic on this forum I read an interesting post from a fellow that was concerned about his refrigerator but now don't get me wrong here. I haven't monitored my EMI stats with any instrument; something I am looking forward to. On the other hand, I have done software monitoring with LatencyMon and PingMonitor and found that my highest execution count in ms was 800 during gaming and yt videos and my ping to my router's address was spiking pretty much often to 18ms from 0.1.

After all, Chief's always said that mostly the EMI problem is internet related. But I would like to ask: Can it be both factors producing this issue? I have also come to a dead end considering everything I have done through trial and error.

That’s the mind boggling thang about it, creating new steam account definitely makes csgo smoother both on mm and on faceit, windows reinstall does the same, changing pc parts help as well, tweaking bios also helps very briefly tho.

That’s how I truly feel about it. When my temporary fixes stop working and I spend months playing with lag, the laggy gameplay becomes the reality. It stops becoming an issue. I have lost all hope on this tbh especially if you don’t know anyone IRL who shares the same issue.
Right now, the only thing I’m trying is half inserting my headphone jack into mobo and hearing badly distorted sound, it improves mouse control and abit of hitreg abit, tested it mutiple of times and it ain’t a placebo, it gives you soon room of clarity from time to time especially in this crazy laggy world that we live in
