XL2586X+ (600hz) questions

Hey guys. Is it possible to achieve 600hz on lower res like 1280x960 with DSC off on this monitor? Seems like HDMI 2.1 should support it, but I want to make sure before purchase. I appreciate any information regarding this, thank you in advance.

Hey fellas, I have some more quries regarding this 600hz zowie.

Firstly, did anyone here find out if using hdmi 2.1 vs dp 1.4 add input lag? I usually find or hear that dp is usually the fastest for input response.

Secondly, since I only play pubg and @ 1728x1080, and I will usually only be able to stay in the fps range of 350-500 fps for this game, should I change the monitors EDID to 500hz instead of 600hz? Will that serve better for input lag, or should I keep the EDID at 600hz?

if u have 500hz edid turn on, on monitor DSC turns off and u can use 4k resolution input lag falls very down. IF u want to use 600hz use HDMi 2.1 have better response but colors are not the same. DP 1.4 is old technology for older gpus.. 2.1 is for latest.. 2.1 have lower input lag vs dp 1.4... dp 1.4 use x4 more dsc than hdmi 2.1 at same hz.. dp 1.4 max bandwith usage almost 26gb while hdmi 2.1 use 32.

HDMi 2.1 is latest technology use that.. not dp 1.4 dp 1.4 is for older gpu and takes times to alt tab..if u want dsc off use EDID 500hz and u can go for 4k resolution...2.1hmdi is faster in input lag simple because it has more bandwidth. If u got asus 540hz is much slower when u change to desktop and back to game.. same is with oled, Using Dp1.4 have better colors vs hdmi. HDMI 2.1 have better input lag. And never use any software that void warranty any custom resolution ur warranty is dead. Read manual in BENQ zowie... yes i had oled and still have oled TV.. OLED is good for 1 hour of games than i get eyestrain it flickers, more hz u have more eyestrain u get.. in benq zowie i can last 6 hours before i get tired. TN panel more hz u have less eyestrain u have.

What about XL2411K? HDMI 2.0 is better than DP 1.2 on XL2411K in terms of input lag and response time?
