Recently i have played val from a different city/region for a week, no big difference in ping (60 compared to usual 75-100)

BUT!

While playing on a terrible hardware and peripherals from an internet cafe, the game was 10 times easier to play, I only had 3 negative games in ~20 matches. Now im back at home, playing on a 480hz monitor w/ 9800x3d, way more comfy and it feels like playing against F1 drivers again.

The issue is real and its my ISP fault. I wish i knew what exactly to test my ISP for.

You can't come to that conclusion yet, because you could easily take your top of the line right to the internet cafe and have a terrible experience too. But until then, you don't know.

Dude I had almost same experience here but not Internet Cafe...But just playing on my very shitty Notebook and noticed difference for some Matches but it was some better than on my PC where I have stable 300-400FPS...

but on my shitty low Notebook it was some more better playable and hitreg worked different and i atleast could and was able to track and see enemy in my crosshair and able to hit them on timing...overall experience was better than on my PC and this just the most mindfuck...


This shit is too crazy...and some hard to explain in words...


But there many other People who noticed that just by cap FPS to 120 as example and things already can change to your favor (improve) or just by change settings Ingame and Graphics or play around with this Network Buffer setting...


Shit very weird and unexplainable...but for sure messed up and very wrong for many players out there and working...where most players don't even notice or realize...how rigged or broken much...



And then there exist Players (the other side of this medal) who don't change much and don't do nothing anything much but there Online Games from start just works perfect and for many Matches in row...everything stable and better than if compare to other "unlucky" people like us...

How things going here for you ? I know that Riot use some Anti-Smurf mechanics but still interesting if it works or dont ? But you feel better with just new created Acccount ? and like huge Advantage against others in the first Matches and where you can rekt everyone with EZ and carry by Solo even a match ? Is it like that ? With new Account that you create ?


And then only after you get like matched against Players where you can't do nothing against and you feel all the issues and like disadvatange against this ferrari drivers enemies ? And everything starts to feel very TRYHARD and much bullshit moments starts ?

Like a Wall where you can't jump over it...and you like stuck and only bad experience starts and all problems and feels like losers queue where you botom as player and can't do much or change ???


I am right or wrong ? Is that what you have and this way ?


Or maybe someone other guys here with such ISSUE and similar experience ?

They dont use the rigged matchmaking thing, i have tried swapping accounts, we shouldnt even mention that, riot is too incompetent, they dont have the brains for such compilcated thing - remember the replays and the fact that their game looks like it came out in 2001 and performs similar to Overwatch 2.

Its purely ISPs fault. The indicator for me is the fps limiter - if my frames go above 750, i start teleporting/rubberbanding and the "network problem" indicator appears. So i cap at 500.

Lan cafe:
Terrible setups, not comfy at all, not focused - 1.5 kd on average, went negative in 2 games out of 14, barely trying, almost reached immortal but had to travel back home

At home:
Dropped to asc 1
On a good setup, 480hz oled x3d etc.
Playing a non-oneshot gun like vandal or op is a death sentence, strafing is useless, same goes for any off angle

Had exact same thing here (but not always) and at first I don't understand why suddenly Ping spikes and full Lag and Network indicator appeared too always...

Then after cap FPS...everything become Lag free and no more Ping spikes...

But I still never understand how and why...cause normally i played always without cap FPS and everything was fine.



Or once my whole Internet don't worked more and could don't open Youtube or even Google...

And only after I closed Game...My Internet start to work again and was able to use Browser...


I had and experienced many weird shit here with Valorant and Network and such kind of bugs...

If judge by this 2 Clips only...my own experience is not much different from yours... exact same bullshit and in many 1vs1 moment and it feels so hard off and like im shooting at WALLS or AIR which has double Armor or sometime very weird movement by enemies...like slow and then fast or just random unpredictable...

But you unable to counter them and know already that you rekt before even try to fight them and when they peek on you...


I die to such kind of Enemies too like always and most of the time and same way...

I see them on my Screen First and even shoot them First but still get rekt at the end and in most moments...haha

So i feel with you and can understand the pain.

The only funny difference is that you experience this with like 120ms Ping and I have here exact same bullshit but just with 30-40ms Ping... And living not so far from Server...


Your Clips just another Proof for me that Pings don't matter at all and when speak about all this...and you even Asc 1 Rank with such high Ping...which is rly great and dont many low 10ms-30ms Pings can achieve this and get to such Rank and even Today...I am good example myself. Who played most of the time only between Bronze-Gold...But actually right now Low Silver.

So you play around with 40-60 Ping ? Right ?



But anyway don't matters...cause i still know Players who have +100Ping and Playing at high Ranks and even in Immo...which is Crazy with such Ping...

Cause after 100-120ms you can already feel a real input delay with every action you do and i played with such ping on north american servers and know what im talking about. Most funny shit is that I performed exactly same there and there and like same as with my 30ms on Europe...I noticed no much difference lol...beside only this little input delay with 120ms and thats it....

You was 99% for sure that you would kill Skye (and that it was enough hits) and switched to Omen quickly after at the very last sec and before you die... Like your Mind/Brain was already faster than what really of shit happened here...


I call this real bullshit moment...haha


But can feel this shit for 100%...


At times when my Game here worked perfect then I knew 100% how many bullets I need and how many hits to make for a Kill and I exactly know this feel...like your natural muscle memory starts to kick in again and it's easy...if same and same patterns start to work.


But if shit happens most of the time...then these things stop to work and are messed up... And it's hard to adapt to this and i would even say impossible...cause it becomes random bullshit and more luck than real skill...or let's say 50/50% chance...that how i would describe it too...

but where you have still no much control over this and bullshit still happens...


Edit: Is that maybe what you feel in LAN cafe and this kind of advantage/difference and where you had more control and you start to feel the game as normal again ? thing like become more easy yes and more predictable and you start like better to hit/kill enemy and timings and everything become better ? that feelings ?

Only gonna add to this Topic this: If someone believe that this are only Valorant issues and problems then you all wrong and same exact shit happens in CS2 and even happened in CSGO and where even worse shit can happens than that and where you can clearly see and where you clearly literally die behind Walls...


But im myself think and opinion...If you have rly issues and problems then these you will see in no matters what OnlineGames and notice and all the disadvatanges and even in FIFA...

I tried to google it and AI tells me that FPS has no affect on network and issues...like wtf ???


But i had same experience like you and if i cap my FPS then Network and Ping spikes becomes less...
