Not saying this is right or wrong, but interestingly, when I believe I had better input on my older systems I always used crappy USB wireless receivers, as I had no clue about hardware back then

I have a (Hama) USB extension hub with a built-in HDMI and Ethernet ports that adds the Realtek USB GbE Family Controller to my device manager too but when I was playing on it the issue was still there.

But @Author, is your type C or type A plug?

This is right !!!! Very important to keep the default one (2015) if i remember correctly this is a windows native netadaptercx firmware.

I am not the autor but TP-LINK UE300 Adapter is type C.

Avoid usb extension with multiple ports like yours. Best extension you can buy is 1 function only (in this case ethernet only).

Also your motherboard may not be affected by this issue at all. It really depends because each motherboard model has a different topology, yours may be good? Only way to tell is test with an ethernet extension to type C, if nothing changes, your issue isn't here.

Thanks for the reply but seems like there are 2 models, type C and a type A one. I want to know which one the author is using
also I mainly bought it because I use it on a handheld PC where there's no Hdmi port because I really needed it connected to a bigger screen.

I have a type-A adapter. But I also have some observations that make me doubt that the adapter was the reason for my success. I will write about this in more detail later.
