Isn't this monitor DisplayPort only like the kit modified 248QE? I don't think DVI supports the signals they need to send for GSYNC.
I think Dual Link DVI can theoretically support 1440p 144hz because dual link dvi doesn't have a set bandwidth cap. It is only "Limited by copper bandwidth limitations". So if you had a good enough wire you could probably do it.

This screen indeed appears to only support DP, I.e., the monitor has one single input and it is a DP one

I had questioned that also. Will the strobe circuitry top out at 120 Hz and the 144 Hz be reserved for non-strobe G-Sync only? Would be pretty amazing if it could do 144 Hz strobed and get the MPRT down into the 1.x ms range. But I have a feeling the strobe length is fixed no matter the Hz. 144 Hz strobed would still feel smoother!

is the input lag for ROG swift similar to the VG248QE?

So does SLI now properly work with GSYNC? It says 2x 780s on the specs there.

Whitespider, maybe if the panel quality of that rog swift is pretty ok you should just get that. Cuz it might be a while before we see ips panels with gsync. And there wont ever be legit 60+hz ips`s. Where this however would be a worry free monitor that just works and does everything you want @ its factory specs. If its fine for your eyes, then its fine... we dont really "need" 99% RGB for gaming.
