Who you gonna call? The Blur Busters! For Everything Better Than 60Hz™

may i ask how the overdrive on this monitor? and input lag? cause on pg248q i have normal mode overdrive and its feels sluggish and not response so i use extreme how is the fast overdrive on lg ?k2viper wrote:This particular test pattern is bad to diagnose MBR problems, better use https://testufo.com/crosstalk
Well, first pic (mbr off) has much visible blur on bottom UFO. Look closely, UFO is blurred, and bottom UFO on second pic is much clearer.
Refer to https://www.blurbusters.com/faq/motion-blur-reduction/ to see how blur reduction should look in action.
Also you may simply shake your hand between your eyes and screen, with strobing on you will easily see a stroboscopic effect.
And what about jerkiness you mentioned? Did my fix helped?
There is TFTCentral review on that http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/lg_27gk750f.htmpox02 wrote:may i ask how the overdrive on this monitor? and input lag? cause on pg248q i have normal mode overdrive and its feels sluggish and not response so i use extreme how is the fast overdrive on lg ?
Yes, low latency VSYNC works fine. I went back to using IPS 144Hz though as I couldn't track targets at all and didn't get any better over 15 hours. After spending some time trying to understand why, I believe, its due to losing the crosshair/target co-positioning when shooting continuously due to nozzle flash (e.g. Tracer, Soldier). It just feels like I am blinded for short bursts of time. Snipers and single shots heroes were fine.k2viper wrote:This particular test pattern is bad to diagnose MBR problems, better use https://testufo.com/crosstalk

I'll make this as fast and painless as possible:zbone wrote:Yes, low latency VSYNC works fine. You describe it meaning you were playing with MBR on? You may be not used to strobing, many people feel strobed modes weird and dont like them. But some, like me, are used to strobing - I was on full time strobing-on monitor since 2013.zbone wrote:After spending some time trying to understand why, I believe, its due to losing the crosshair/target co-positioning when shooting continuously due to nozzle flash (e.g. Tracer, Soldier). Yes, it's with MBR ON. I tried tracking without shooting and it felt fine though. This is why I attributed it to nozzle flash. I switched to "Original" scaling mode the very first minute after reading this topic.k2viper wrote:You describe it meaning you were playing with MBR on? Perhaps you need more time to get used to strobing. Whats your average per-day online time? 15hrs in 3 days, and 15hrs in 3 weeks are different, you know
Im also a tracer/soldier/zarya main, and feel it tracks perfectly. This "connected feel" is even better after I switched to "Original" scaling mode. Even though i'm practicing hanzo and mcree flicks, the more I track the better it becomes.
