guys are all TN panels have terrible colors? is it the same level for all monitors?
bc I have Viewsonic VX2458-MHD that is not playable for all (at least for warzone)
cuz I'm thinking of taking xl2546k instead of my Vg259qm

Not all TN are bad colors but you must view them head-on since their viewing angles are much narrower.
Also, TN panels were often reserved for the first high-Hz monitors (before IPS became king of Hz), and pushing the bleeding edge also reduced TN quality below the original 60 Hz TN monitors. And a lot of compromises were made in many units. The XL2546, however, is one of the above-average TN panels.
That said, people know me know I am partial to IPS nowadays. The ASUS is very good too.

Has anyone managed to go higher than 1260 VT at 240hz?

I would not use these porch and sync timings.
While they may seem to work, these apparently play mass havoc with "Scanline Sync" and FPS limiter in RTSS.
I have no idea why.
I tried these values at a 165hz refresh rate and the FPS limiter was being capped at 162-163 fps, and sometimes if I looked at the ground, it went up to 177 fps. When I set it back to the standard 48/3, and 32/5 values, it was back at 165 fps again.
Maybe Chief Blur Buster knows...

I have no idea if it's stable, crosstalk is quite low at 240hz but I feel like there are random lag spikes (isn't high VT supposed to do the opposite? maybe I'm overfeeding the monitor buffer? For some reason LCD reduced feels more consistent with latency).
Large vertical totals can increase or decrease input lag depending on sync technology.
Basically I only strobe with uncapped fps, could it be the reason why large VT feels inconsistent?
I rarely use RTSS and I've never used scanline sync, I just want the lowest latency strobing I can get.
Maybe @Chief can shed some light on proper VT tweaking.

I'm using Dyac Premium with AMA High, Black eq 12-15, Color Vibrance 10-15 (depending on preference), Sharpness 6 with TAA off (8 with TAA ON), Gamma 3, Color temp 98-100-100
I create the profile from Standard mode since it has the most accurate colors but I don't mind enabling FPS mode and tweaking only Black eq if I just want slightly more saturated colors.
