Nope, been doing it for a while. Hopefully a fix in a future firmware update.

only happened to me once. i don't recall what gears used to have this issue, it's not uncommon but it surely is rare. but it sure is annoying.

Also, there's more to click latency than polling rate. I have in front of me 2 mice with 1khz polling, and bump testing them against each other gives roughly 5-6ms difference between them. A mouse running at 8khz does not necessarily (and most likely does not) mean that its 'click latency' to the computer is <0.125ms.

It's configured at 8Khz but on testing sites such as:

Game experience:
Only tried it in Bfront 2 and it is noticeable for me (i have a Model D minus @ 1000hz on 240Hz HP omen X 25f monitor).
It is smoother and slightlyyy more responsive (this could even just be the difference in buttons tbh), but the smoothness is noticeable in feel and visual in game.

1000hz feels more stuttery and inconsistent in comparison to 8Khz (or whatever it is running at- 5Khz?).

Will test more games, but definitely enjoying it so far. There hasnt been any magic so far in aiming (which i wasnt expecting) but it certainly feels nicer/smoother.

EDIT: also CPU usage increase dramatically.
At 1000hz its about 3-4%
at 4000Hz its about 10%
and 8000hz its about 14%
lol didn't expect this. Im running at 8700K at 4.7Ghz with 3733 memory dual rank/dual channel.

07 Feb UPDATE:
- very annoying issue when booting up ~ mouse is not detected, have to replug the mouse for it to work. I replicated this by turning off computer for 5 mins or so and rebooted - every single time.
Tried different USB ports, having mouse at 1000hz, disabled fast boot in BIOS. Apparently this is a common issue with Razer mice in general from the past.

- Games where 8Khz does not work for me (significant frame drops when moving, or sluggish/inaccurate movement):
==> Counterstrike
==> Battlefield V
==> Rising Storm 2
4Khz seems to work okay though for those games.
I decided i cant be bothered testing other games and use 4Khz uniform.

- windows - moving browsers from screen to screen is messed up at anything above 1Khz (it essentialy wont move across unless using significant force/speed). Tried disabling Snap Windows as per Razers troubleshooting thing. Doesnt help. So i use 1000hz profile for desktop.

Contemplating returning mouse due to re-plug issue. Never had a mice that has this problem - joke.
Had more time with 4Khz - still noticeable over 1Khz in terms of smoothness and slight input lag reduction (could be buttons as well), but hasn't affected my gameplay much, if any. But i do not want to go back to 1Khz if i could pick XD.

But yea if the replug mouse at boot is not fixed, will return.

bfv works fine for me.

bfv has 200fps cap tho. not sure what's the point of some people claiming that u have to have a 360hz monitor or 240+ to benefit. it's not exactly like you can blame a 2018 release for not being cutting edge enough especially since that was the premier RTX launch title, along with shadow of tomb raider, both heavily taking from the PUBG heritage.

BFV u can exceed FPS cap by just using console or setting up a user.cfg file in BFV directory. GameTime.MaxVariableFps "FPS cap". It's not hard capped at 200fps.

8Khz is inconsistent for me on BFV. If i do fast sweeping motions it becomes a problem (like turning around). normal movement is okay. i am 32cm/360 turn.

OH ok thx I'll try and get that figured next time I play. ye i realize a lot of games even r6s don't allow .xx in game sens changing, IN GAME (duh). not very user friendly/quality of life when it's not exactly a new feature (I heard Hyperscape allows it, for being a much newer game, so it's not a case of capabilities or whatever, just laziness from different game devs?) . Since I'm adjusting and fluid on dpi anyways, not so much a big deal. can always google up cfg guides.. R6s also doesn't even let me go to 390 from 360. seems like uplay and bnet games for some reason like to default to 144hz from a new monitor/my new monitor instead of how I remember that my old monitor as long as I set it+OS to 180hz (because OC) then any games with a hz dial instantly/automatically by launch set to 180

Fast swiping indeed creates more data input whether u look at just pixel counts per second generated or having a higher scaling hz or rather, the fact that it decide to report more (because it's not 8000 pixels per second ....? I gotta re-read all that discussion again because it still does not compute very well for me). I've never really measured my cm 360 but I was adjusting down from 3 to 1 igs in spellbreak, (20k dpi, was on like 15/3200dpi or something so that's why after some days 3 still felt a bit fast for longer range) since there's no scopes except ice mage and I don't play ice mage much (filthy lightning main for now). hitting things closer and further using the same sens is a challenge (haven't read 2g patch note yet, seems like they optimized long distance render rate/fidelity which is nice, I can see people fighting far away not in stuttering ppt anymore..I like it when it's mountain ranges, wish PUBG has as many green mountain ranges, and more trees plz). I settled to 2 eventually yesterday. seemed to work alright for now. In 3 tho I can basically do like a dozen 360s on a qck hard....This also has to do with the fact that there is indeed a huge difference in terms of aiming posture---when you are forced to tilt your wrist too much it's not just an accuracy debate it's a real time strain/comfort concern, you don't have this problem if you up your edpi further, or if you don't want to up edpi and feel strained, you are pretty much stuck with lowering it and adopting some arm movement... this is why I feel there's a huge dissociation from the 2 play styles--it's not so fluid a change as some people like to pretend when they play peacemaker.. But the advantage of a pure wrist aiming on high edpi is very apparent--right hand almost planted like the left (to think people care about wobbly bad QC on newer cherry switches...and it's just one digital on/off input..), almost NO need for ever lifting up, this is contrasted by very high requirement of control nuance when it is required(mostly longer range stuff) and+/thus a lower overall tolerance of error. I don't believe in a locked muscle memory, because anyone who relies on a dogma pretty much isn't veteran enough and should try more new things, and anyone who already has an established purview isn't gonna be entirely debased by trying and adopting new things anyways.

lol ok I thought it had 200fps cap ig because I WAS on 180hz. now it's 390HZ and I forgot that it also had "limit to refresh rate" which would have been lower back then, but is higher now.

I tried command line and later realized this, just tried again, 400 fps max in loading. the floating numbers aren't inaccurate as my new vsync monitor top right yellow # so. It was defaulting to HDR even while my system OS wasn't, because maybe it detects HDR capabilities on monitors automatically, but it was greyed so I would have to enable HDR in OS anyways, but yea never saw a dedicated HDR calibration menu next to graphics before. Also tried graphics in gameplay areas seemed like only post processing cuts from 210 stable (somehow locked, cpu bottlenecked? 10700k) to 170-190 fluctuating. the 210 also dips when actually in motion and playing (when I can't also be dialing settings real time), so the other maxed settings may have some impact previously invisible. Pointing at the sky in brit spawn fjell I get 260fps, proving it is unlocked ig for sure, although not much worth. Gonna try HDR and then HDR + RTX etc (max graphics obviously) before game servers close lol.

Browser-based mouse testers are currently unable to keep up. I tried with my 8KHz, and I can confirm 8KHz in native apps, but only 3-to-5KHz in browser apps.
