watching that s1mple clip and his reaction totally can understand him in such moments...
especially this two moment> 1:08 (where he get still damaged) and right after 1:14 (where he finally says that this all start to annoy him)
this the best: 0:27

i would directly shutdown and uninstall game...if such moments happened to me more often than usually...
but i think there is a huge difference on how often and frequently this shit happens to someone and for how long it stays and ruins your gaming experience...
but yes shit can happen even to pro but there huge difference at what rank and level this shit start to happen and for how long this shit stays and how much it ruins your online experience compared to other players that has it some better and play without that bullshit.

Yes, the s1mple clip sums it all up.
He probably can’t show his true frustration/emotions and it would be bad to complain about lag infront of 10000 people.
His situation is different to ours because im pretty sure with his connections/ money he will find a fix soon enough or just move somewhere else soon when cs2 launches. He knows it wont be permanent, i dont follow streams since i quit last time but i slowly started watching again. I remembr watching him a few weeks ago and it looks like he changed his house or is streaming from a different room? No idea, feel bad for s1mple but he will fix it since its his whole life probably and he can use the help of many people and his $.
If I tell anyone im moving out cus my csgo lags they will think im insane but i will not be playing cs2 from this place. Its pure aids

Been lurking arround this forum and the input lag one for some while.. I used to be level 10 faceit and immortal 3 in valorant.. For me it started 2 years ago when I moved to my current location, previously I was enjoying far more decent gameplay from my old appartment (located literally one street away from where I am now). There I would get ocasionally some hitreg issues, but never complained about input lag or high desync.. From my current house, everything is a nightmare, very high input lag, stutters, 240hz feels like 80hz.. 60hz feels like 30.. My desync is the worst part.. Currently I have 2 ISPs both fiber.. Changed 3 computers so far (9900k, 5950x, 5800x3d currently).. Every new computer worked good for a couple of days.. Nothing helped.. One day I found out that I dont have grounding, seems like my father did not have the money for (my parents used to live here, they then moved outside the city and me and my wife moved here). This lack of grounding was actually my hope.. Then I got the grounding done via an experienced electrician, 3 big rods.. It did not make a single difference.. Not a single one. The fact that I have 2 ISPs and the previous apartment I used to live in (again, mentioning that it was one street away) had no issues made me exclude the internet as the culprit.. For multiple other reasons (non related to this one) we decided to move outside the city as well, we will live in the same house as my parents for a while, untill we sell this house and get a new one (in the same area as they live). Gonna move out in the weekend and the only thing I can do is hope for the best, that I will be able to enjoy a little bit of gaming again..
CSGO: Made on deathmatch community servers, 128tick is even worst..
Valorant: first clip is a good hitreg one, even though the input lag can be seen.. the only good clip that I captured during lots of deathmatch sessions.. Then, my day to day experience (pay attention to the ammount of interpolation, to the speed of the moving enemy and to their reaction times)
I'll update after moving.
Hey,
Following my initial post with updates, finished moving (~30km distance from my initial place, way outside the city). I played some csgo and valorant.. What can I tell you is that instantly even on desktop I noticed near perfect mouse movement, I no longer feel the input lag, games feel smooth, microstuttering is gone. Even the sound quality is better. What shocked me is that initially although this changes in smoothness and responsiveness were so obvious, the hitreg was bad.. Gameplay was synced correctly, no prefires and no bullshit.. but my.. I dont feel like the enemy are prefireing me (as always happened in my previous location), everything seems good sync, they move normally, time to react, interpolation seems fine.. But my bullets we're literally going through them. So I did a Network reset and then hopped in a deathmatch, the video below was the result. Its the first time in last years when I did a 9x killstreak in valorant deathmatch (minute 3:00).
I dont know what will happen in time. Experience tells me not to be happy too soon. But you can see in the video that i no longer have the over compensation mouse movement, and the mouse stops immediatly without that input lag effect.

Hey man, really happy it worked out for you.
During 2014-15 I was rly struggling with faceit and i was hardstuck at decent elo but i could never advance.
I wasnt too aware of the issue back then due to lack of experience but then I moved to my girlfriend, took my pc with me a couple of days later and the first thing i checked was if my sensitivity was randomly set to default or something.
I remember my mouse being so fast and the enemies being extremely slow that I had to adapt to a whole new style of playing. My aim was really off for the first couple of days but once I get used to the new place i advanced to fpl-c qualifiers with blameF etc.
by saying that i mean that there was a drastic change in my achievmentw from being hardstuck at 2k elo to getting to fpl- qualifiers and topfragging almost every game. I got sick the 2nd day and didnt play, moved back to my parents and dropped from 30kills every game to hardly getting 10..
You probably have it how it should be now and will need a little time to become even better.
Going after this issue really messes up everything.
Aiming is probably affected the most since most of us are changing setup, hardware, not caring about mice shape as long as it fixes the input lag, changing ram settings thwt affects how the mouse feels and ur muscle memory goes to waste when you tweak ur system daily.
Hope it stays like this for you, when I fixed my issue by moving to an apartment with good internet i dont recall having issues like i do now..they suddenly disappeared once i moved and dont think they came back
Yes maybe there were some games where the server was bad but back then i had 1-2 rounds where random prefires and fly-bys occured and the rest was perfect. Now its the opposite, i get ace one roundthen i end the game with 7 kills total.
My internet literally works for 1 round where it feels like enemies turn into zombies and i can get an ace with almost zero effort.

So do you have any idea what the source of problem could be?
