Not in Europe. Last time I checked, the VG248QE was between 35 and 45€ more expensive than the BenQ XL2411T (which usually costs 275€). Many months ago, I thought about importing an ASUS VG248QE (it was like 200€ in the USA), but the shipping costs were around 100€, so not worth it

I'm from Europe as well. From Belgium to be exact.
I just checked a French site and actually you're right the XL2411T is cheaper than the VG248QE.

It's really hard for me to decide what I should buy. I'm planing on building a PC soon. And with G-SYNC coming, it complicates everything.
For example they have these nice
Sapphire Radeon R9 290 Tri-X 4G GDDR5 OC for 374 euro.
If I go AMD then I can't have G-SYNC. But the cheapest 780Ti are at 599 euro

I was going for a dual gpu setup and going NVIDIA would blow it out of my budget.
This is an issue for me, G-SYNC sounds awesome but it requires to pay a premium for both the monitor and the GPU. :/

Got mine in today and it's so nice. Only thing is the colors are way off, which I've read for most Benq monitors. I've tried looking around online but no one has settings yet for this monitor. Any chance you could share the settings you've been using for your review Chief?

My 3 BenQ monitors have a shipping delay
This is why I'm not looking forward to having to ship them out again and then wait on return shipping again! So, 100% of these monitors are being shipped out with bad firmware since the corrected firmware is only in beta?

Ah crap.. Ive been waiting for the XL2720Z for a few months and now it looks like Ill have to wait untill the firmware problem is fixed before ordering it. Its quite surprising that the monitor has passed quality control with one of the main feature completely screwed. If someone have the confirmation that BenQ will pay all expenses needed to fix the bad firmware I will pull the trigger for sure. I dont want to wait untill they ship monitors with fixed firmware and also dont want to pay a premium for G-sync version of the monitor, im sure they wont sell for less than 650$. At least NCIX extended their deal until January 31 so ill wait for some news about this issue.

hi all, was curious if this monitor had speakers
and if it would work for my ps4 or xbox???
and what is the input lag on this monitor? i like a lot of FPS and racing titles. or is it impossible to get a good input lag on a big monitor?

If the BenQ XL2420G and XL2720G have G-Sync and don't lose their own motion blur reduction technique, they will be the best option, because they would have:

the BenQ Z series is interesting in the fact that you won't want to loose extra money for a thing that you won't really need, and by that i'm thinking about G-SYNC and for thoses whom are only looking for ULMB ( well, personally i play only old quake like games so i got constant high frame rates ... )

Ok, but will it also include the "BenQ's Motion Blur Reduction"? (The one that can work at 144Hz)
I for one would be disappointed if it was limited to ULMB 120Hz.
