to get at the bottom of physics u start at the top. otherwise you wont have good knowledge or consistency of upper layers and one day it will "feel good" because for example windows defender was idle that day or your drivers/programs got good roll on load order or thread scheduling or ASLR rng and it feels better yet u will end up blaming the conditoner not doing anything anymore or end up in ShieldedHealing stuff.

there are books for all of this. read them to fix your problems rather than yelling ghost!!!

Same experience with a ps3, in call of duty black ops 2, my bullets were lagging and stuttering, and when I was a spectator, the others' bullets were all fluid.

Have you tried any other games other than CSGO/BO2?

If you have a console such as a PS4 and PC, do they have the same issues on the same games?

On the ps3, in black ops 1 the same thing happened to me.

And on the pc the same thing happens to me in more games. In league of legends the same thing happens to me, input lag and stuttering.

The terrible thing about this is that there are days that it disappears almost completely, and I look like a fucking animal playing. And note that I am not the typical noob and that I want to excuse myself from being bad with this, in cs go I am global elite and in league of legends, I am diamond, but because I have played little, if I played more, the minimum would be + master

There are certain settings that fix this, but they disappear the other day. I remember that once I put the league of legends in windowed mode, and I felt that the entry lag had disappeared, and I won 1 vs 5 that game, the next day I felt the same entry lag as always, or worse, because windowed mode adds input lag.

And now that I remember, in cs 1.6 the same thing happens to me. I once tried my brother's laptop and it felt so different, the bullets from the awp hit where I was shooting, and it was easier to kill. I used the laptop unplugged. The laptop is old and hopefully runs cs 1.6 at 100fps.

This happens on High end PC's, low end PC's, PS4, Mobile. This has nothing to do with windows defender. This isn't a hardware/software issue so "windows defender" has nothing to do with this, or my "drivers". I don't know why people comment without reading the post instead they read the title and comment. I wish this was as simple as a driver issue.

If you actually read the post, you would think twice about what you just said.

I already did. CSGO was played offline. Offline mode in steam VS bots with a computer that was disconnected from internet.

I thought it was electricity but now I'm sure it is a virus. It works in background, infects hardware and spreads over ISP & USB lines. If you don't think it is true go on amazon or whatever store and get a cheap monitor and test it out. Plug it in and it will work smoother than your super expensive monitor and you will be getting 50 frags in Counter Strike but the virus will infect it depending on few hours or days and it will come back

I'm just wondering where the virus came from. Probably Porn sites since we all view those

Computer viruses typically don't function that way. While viruses are definitely a problem and cause of some lags (from background processing).

Only big malware-creator outfits (like nation backed) has the resources to do such advanced multiprotocol stuff that also eventually affects a monitor firmware -- but it costs many millions of dollars to develop a virus that can infect the firmwares of multiple computer monitors and generally computer monitors are poor locations for computer viruses because of their mostly unidirectional nature (i.e. no Ethernet jacks on most computer monitors). To create a monitor virus in the first place, you'd have to buy multiple brands of monitors, reverse engineer all of them, create virus software that can install themselves on the various brands that a user may randomly buy. And sometimes the firmware cannot be upgraded unless there's specific cables connected (like a USB hub cable between monitor and PC, if that's the firmware-upgrade conduit), and sometimes there's no way to reflash the firmware.

Also, there is little purpose to infecting monitors because monitors are not internet-connected, so there are very few useful use cases, making it a very unproductive virus vector since there’s usually not enough processing headroom left over for screen spying monitor-side that can’t be communicated except over low-bandwidth backchannels back to the PC that’s too low to even accept realtime screenshots. Given the large inflexibility of monitors, such stuff is almost more difficult than the BadBIOS theoretical networking over speakers/mic, although monitors are indeed getting more advanced (like SmartTV-capable monitors).

More commonly, it's background software that increases processing intensity, and viruses may detect system changes (like a monitor swap) and go dormant/go active -- but it doesn't mean it spread to the monitor. Windows can also do a lot of background housekeeping that starts up / calms down, and be affected by hardware changes -- that one is non-virus, unless one is referring to Windows as a virus (...chortle...)

But, there are thousands of mudane causes of the exact same pattern -- like behaviors of included that are far more mudane, including many not EMI related, and not virus related. Troubleshooting can be very tough in the refresh rate race to retina refresh rates, where tolerances are getting tighter, but let's not get into conspiracies without proof.

I bought a brand new GSYNC monitor and the issue occurred right away, also tested brand new PC's and it happened right away so I don't think its a virus.
