ULMB2 is available at 60, 120, 240 and 360.
60hz is perfect for consoles, any other fixed rate your better off just leaving it on Pulsar mode imo.

What do they mean with 120 FPS Pulsar mode? When I switch my refresh rate to 120 Hz on windows via nvcp after firmware upgrade, I still just have the ULMB2 option on my monitor (ASUS). Pulsar is only available with 240 and 360 Hz.edgintheledge wrote: ↑12 Mar 2026, 20:54Just updated my monitor! these are the full patchnotes when you go to update

My monitor shows the same behavior, not sure what they meant.mawi wrote: ↑13 Mar 2026, 16:43What do they mean with 120 FPS Pulsar mode? Yea it's true lmao. 60hz with low pulse width is the only truly clear mode where it feels like your literal eyes would be the bottleneck before the monitor's. I've also noticed that the 60hz mode is also the only mode to not use the rolling scan, or at least not in a way that I can detect. I can't notice any scan out skew and the screen doesn't have that wobbly effect when you flick your eyes around like with a CRT. Pointing a camera at the screen with a really fast shutter speed seems to confirm that. As soon as you go to 120hz or higher regardless of ulmb or pulsar selected it uses the rolling backlight.kyube wrote: ↑13 Mar 2026, 15:38That's a extremely concerning claim to read, which would imply that they've only allowed for a low duty cycle experience for the 60Hz refresh rate....liquidshadowfox wrote: ↑13 Mar 2026, 15:09...BUT ULMB 60 hz > ULMB 120 feels really bad lol I really hope they keep updating this monitor with more updates to allow for ULMB 120 at the same motion clarity as 60 hz because that REALLY looked clear and 120 ULMB looks LESS clear than 60 hz ULMB which is nuts.
It would be hillarious if this is true.
Do you say this because of the brightness? The motion clarity uplift is the same? Or..
Well the good news kyube is they have shown they can do both haven't they? Lol.
Its simpler setup to have the VRR mode with good clarity, consistent and higher brightness with no noticeable flicker.purplemelon1 wrote: ↑13 Mar 2026, 18:59Do you say this because of the brightness? The motion clarity uplift is the same? Or..
