It happened.
https://zowie.benq.eu/en-eu/news/2020/b ... .html.html
So far it seems to me its only cosmetics. The base as we said and thats basically it.
I still wonder how the panel will perform in regards to XL2546S and it trouble of color reproduction.
Is it possible that everything is still the same....
Now the thing i wanna know is the pricing and then I will decide will I go with 240hz or 360hz

Just saw that...
When your biggest marketing point is that you have a smaller stand, it's not looking too good.
From: https://zowie.benq.com/en/xl-k-series.html
"Smaller base, more playing space!"
Usually that would be a VERY low priority feature, perhaps 4th or 5th down the line. But no, it's #1. Makes me think it's the exact same panel, exact same specs and probably behind the competition.
It's like you're selling a car... and the first thing you say about it is how the gas cap is easy to remove. "It's easy to fill up! Look at our easy-twist gas cap." Right... but what about the REST of it ?

This is not normal ( in a good way) Even most CSGO pros won't be able to do this consistentlyDirty Scrubz wrote: ↑01 Aug 2020, 23:57I saw in another thread they were talking about the human benchmark website. Decided to give it a shot, this is a first attempt dry run, so I had no idea what to expect:

That's with DyAc+ on (I keep it on 24/7) at 240 Hz. For reference I'm a 42 yr old male in pretty decent shape. Those of you in the 18-25 yr old range should be able to top this result.

So it's the same monitor but just a different stand and other tiny outer details like no DVI and mic jack? Kinda strange... still tempted to try out one of these Benq's.
With Dyac off is it still one of the best monitors when it comes to motion blur?

I would say it definitely is, currently sitting on my XL2546, and these newer versions very likely also have that 0.5 ms GTG panel apparently, like the discontinued "S" version. However, I did not see any info about the panel itself on BenQ Zowie website.
Main display (TV/PC monitor): LG 55G4 OLED evo 4K 144 Hz (WOLED MLA gen2)

When you scroll down at the comparison part they show both the S and K as liquid crystal display so that's the .5ms panel?
I see no reason for it to be more expensive than the current version, but who knows
Re: BENQ Zowie XL2746S & XL2546S (*DISCONTINUED*) Owners Thread
You mean Fast Liquid Crystal? Because I'm pretty sure you know "liquid crystal display" is just the name of technology that most monitors use and have used for years. And yes, Fast Liquid Crystal is indeed how they call their 0.5 ms GTG panel, I didn't notice that.Stevie66 wrote: ↑04 Sep 2020, 11:47When you scroll down at the comparison part they show both the S and K as liquid crystal display so that's the .5ms panel?

Yeah it says it has the Fast Liquid Crystal, so guess it's the exact same panel? not that it's a bad thing unless it had issues or QC problems?speancer wrote: ↑04 Sep 2020, 12:10You mean Fast Liquid Crystal?
