Question for those of you using two of these panels for dual-screen setups. Do you guys use different settings for each panel? Like one is dedicated for gaming and the other for general desktop use?

Looks like RTINGS.com recalibrated color profile for VG259QM: review.
Old RGB settings were: 97-100-95
New RGB numbers: 100-98-91
Brightness (17) and contrast (80) are still the same.
Also icc-profile now can be downloaded directly from the link in the review. I suppose it was changed too (old 6.80KB vs 6.71KB new).

Another difference in their test results; as most of us already used OD 120 (thx axaro1), they now also recommend OD 120 with the new test method, while that was still OD 60 with the old test method.

What is an ICC profile? does it make much difference? I tried to install seeing tutorials but not feel differences in colors.

Hey guys, just bought a VG259QM and i am using on Racing Mode with user colors R - 97 G-94 B-97, brightness 60 and contrast 80, tried a bunch of configs, but nothings come close to my previous XG2401. I found strange that VG259QM is a IPS panel and XG2401 is a TN.

The colors on XG2401 looks more vivid, stronger, black is more intense. On VG259QM colors looks more real, but weaker, yellowish and darker.

I tried to mess with constrast, brightness but could not make look like my TN panel.

Why this is happening? Maybe my eyes isn't used to new panel yet? Can i make looks like the other?

Thanks

Just tried your settingws but didn`t like it, on mine monitor gets even more yellowish than before, but thanks for your input.
I read that some people could be more sensitive to matte display, maybe this is my problem and yours too.

I can't because I'm using RTings response time tables that are limited to 280hz.
