It would be good if everyone states his monitor model that is working/not working as well as the place where it was purchased so we might find out new firmware models might be shipping from already

Well, after playing in 3D, with Lightboost at 10% and exiting the game, Lightboost remained on. Colors are weird, but motion clarity and crosstalk are better. I'll probably use this trick until I send the monitor to BenQ or whatever solution they propose.

I recently tried to run the "The *beta* utility" and my XL2411Z was not compatible with the program. For all the curious people out there I got Mfg Date: December 2013, Rev:00-120-BA. To bad, looking forward to read some news from Benq now!

My manufacturing date is allso December 2013
but my firmware version is V001-20131008.

And why all this pm stuff, just post a link.

jubaz : i think it's over in advance, firmware is well before december, which has bugged firmware, sorry !
But moreover i agree with you, we want the utility PUBLIC !, i own a topic in an another forum such that some users want to test if the utilty works in their new monitor, but they are french and can't really go here.
Mark, would you mind with all respect i have upon you to release it in a way that everyone are able to see it ?

I also got the Firmware V001-201310008, but I found that BenQ Taiwan has published a newer Firmware Version for the XL27020Z which could be downloaded here: http://gaming.benq.com/downloads/ Its name is XL2720ZV2_20131209_2731.BIN

Is that the Firmware which is needed for the strobe utility? If yes, do you see a way of upgrading that on my own? You earlier mentioned a hardware with USB and DVI connector and a step by step instruction, but it seems this hardware is no longer available.. what is your opinion?

Keep tuned for forthcoming news/instructions on how to install that now-released firmware upgrade needed for Blur Busters Strobe Utility compatibility.

just checked my firmware on my xl2420z in service menu it says v001-20131126, but on case it says december..gz benq on confusing people
I guess the utility wont work...i see firmware is up for download for my model too. now waiting for the news from benq.
