Re: Input lag and desync problem due to RAM?
On a working bios, I get post code 9E. This is not an error code, but a code indicating that the TPM has been initialized successfully.

Re: Input lag and desync problem due to RAM?
Why are you trying to explain something you cannot prove with facts or data? You've been going on about this holistic no optimization bullshit for a year and keep mentioning how you went down the rabbit hole of tweaking while also providing no sources for that.naporitan wrote: ↑25 Aug 2025, 06:40When a person is too smart, his decisions are also too abstruse and complicated, such is the paradox and all technologies are created by such people, obvious things become complicated and if these geniuses try to explain something, the situation becomes even worse and therefore, in order not to bring down their shares, AMD/intel does not get involved in this matter with fine-tuning the system for users.
This forum really needs some general moderation or topic restriction because the amount of people who don't even know about basic information is getting out of hand. One year ago, some of the posts had a bit of sensibility to them and brought up some interesting ideas I could make use of, but this CS2, Valorant desync garbage through 20 pages and continued questions about bcdedit configurations is just getting too old.

What??? The whole suite of programs open?? Word, Office, Excel, etc? No fucking way this is real lmao, or am I misunderstanding I don't even know at this point..Hyote wrote: ↑25 Aug 2025, 03:14Yes, this is not currently disclosed, but a few in the optimization and professional gaming scene know about having to keep Office 365 and OneDrive open in the background for the lowest latency and no desync.naporitan wrote: ↑25 Aug 2025, 00:13You also need to constantly update the game bar, xbox services, etc. This is important because windows developers, for some reason, have placed a lot of responsibility on these services, such as optimizing the processor for gaming tasks, etc.naporitan wrote: ↑23 Aug 2025, 20:26*Always install drivers from the motherboard website.
I have Windows 11 Pro 24h2, without tweaks, I don't change the powerplan, timers, etc. I disable Windows mouse acceleration and key sticking, increase the microphone volume. The latest version of the Nvidia driver and in the NVIDIA panel I set GPU Scaling and Override Scaling Mode Set by Games and Programs. In games, Reflex is enabled and FPS_Max 400. I connect the mouse to a USB port to which nothing is connected except the mouse. The USB port to which I connect the mouse is connected via the chipset. I connect the M2 ssd to the port that is connected to the chipset.
I've seen many pc tweakers disable and cut out service data... I checked through xperf and when the game services are activated and updated to the latest version, the games are used on the "correct" processor cores.
Microsoft doesn't disclose all the information, and there are probably still a lot of shadow optimizations...

Re: Input lag and desync problem due to RAM?
I wouldn't say so, I've fixed these issues on a couple of pcs and these programs were always uninstalled, gamebar disabled.crack wrote: ↑25 Aug 2025, 16:59What??? The whole suite of programs open?? People gotta understand these issues can be as simple as a bad USB stick you use to install windows, it might be corrupting ur installs. Go get urself a new Kingston USB before installing windows and start from there.
You can use latencymon to follow ur dpc and isr's, it will guide you to make ur game smooth and crispy most of the time.

I want to share one setting that greatly affects the gaming experience. You need to test it as best you can. When I activate this parameter and play a party, I get a strong desync, but if I go to a solo game, then everything is fine, but sometimes it doesn't. There is a video on YouTube of the NVIDIA settings of the NaVi b1t player, and at one time this parameter was not activated. *I warn you right away not to use display scaling, it is always worse than GPU scaling. Disable monitor technology gsync, adaptive sync, dyac, bfi, etc.

Re: Input lag and desync problem due to RAM?
In the end I switched to 1mm lod mouse, I was able to fix muscle memory thanks to aimlab training and now no unnecessary mouse movements. 2mm lod for problematic mousepad.
My mousepad - mgg ultraaceaim, mouse - Wlmouse Ying (red), polling rate: 1Khz.
Re: Input lag and desync problem due to RAM?
That honestly depends on the monitor, 240hz alienware works perfectly fine with ticked scaling but 360hz zowie works terribly on fullscreen with scaling. on cs2 that is.naporitan wrote: ↑27 Aug 2025, 19:03naporitan wrote: ↑25 Aug 2025, 00:00

Re: Input lag and desync problem due to RAM?
Updated the BIOS to an older version and desync is back. Simply put, the system starts to work unstably with some RAM, but this problem can be fixed by updating the BIOS to a specific version.
choose a BIOS from this list, if you have a different motherboard, then try to choose according to the AGESA version.

Re: Input lag and desync problem due to RAM?
for example: on zen3 old revisions of processors work well with old bios/agesa as shown by the results, and new revisions have problems with old bios/agesa, but the newest versions also have problems, so you need to choose a specific one. For example, for my revision, you need bios version 4201 and it will also work well for 5800x3d. Based on these results and taking into account the revision of the processor, you can make your system serviceable.
Re: Input lag and desync problem due to RAM?
Unfortunately I don't have a detailed table on new generations of processors, but you can find more information on HWBOT.
