One year ago, some of the posts had a bit of sensibility to them and brought up some interesting ideas I could make use of, but this CS2, Valorant desync garbage through 20 pages and continued questions about bcdedit configurations is just getting too old.

I have Windows 11 Pro 24h2, without tweaks, I don't change the powerplan, timers, etc. I disable Windows mouse acceleration and key sticking, increase the microphone volume. The latest version of the Nvidia driver and in the NVIDIA panel I set GPU Scaling and Override Scaling Mode Set by Games and Programs. In games, Reflex is enabled and FPS_Max 400. I connect the mouse to a USB port to which nothing is connected except the mouse. The USB port to which I connect the mouse is connected via the chipset. I've seen many pc tweakers disable and cut out service data... I checked through xperf and when the game services are activated and updated to the latest version, the games are used on the "correct" processor cores.
Microsoft doesn't disclose all the information, and there are probably still a lot of shadow optimizations...

Yes, this is not currently disclosed, but a few in the optimization and professional gaming scene know about having to keep Office 365 and OneDrive open in the background for the lowest latency and no desync.

What??? The whole suite of programs open?? Word, Office, Excel, etc? No fucking way this is real lmao, or am I misunderstanding I don't even know at this point..

I wouldn't say so, I've fixed these issues on a couple of pcs and these programs were always uninstalled, gamebar disabled.

People gotta understand these issues can be as simple as a bad USB stick you use to install windows, it might be corrupting ur installs. Go get urself a new Kingston USB before installing windows and start from there.
You can use latencymon to follow ur dpc and isr's, it will guide you to make ur game smooth and crispy most of the time.

I also use a 2mm mouse LOD, it turns out that I'm somehow using the mouse incorrectly and can't spray well(Corrupted muscle memory).

In the end I switched to 1mm lod mouse, I was able to fix muscle memory thanks to aimlab training and now no unnecessary mouse movements. 2mm lod for problematic mousepad.
My mousepad - mgg ultraaceaim, mouse - Wlmouse Ying (red), polling rate: 1Khz.

That honestly depends on the monitor, 240hz alienware works perfectly fine with ticked scaling but 360hz zowie works terribly on fullscreen with scaling. on cs2 that is.

Updated the BIOS to an older version and desync is back. Simply put, the system starts to work unstably with some RAM, but this problem can be fixed by updating the BIOS to a specific version.

choose a BIOS from this list, if you have a different motherboard, then try to choose according to the AGESA version.

for example: on zen3 old revisions of processors work well with old bios/agesa as shown by the results, and new revisions have problems with old bios/agesa, but the newest versions also have problems, so you need to choose a specific one. For example, for my revision, you need bios version 4201 and it will also work well for 5800x3d. Based on these results and taking into account the revision of the processor, you can make your system serviceable.
