Hi, I purchased this monitor at microcenter and having the problems like in this video where the monitor keeps going black screen on and off. I went to microcenter and replaced it with another one and it is still having the same problem as in the video. It happens a lot when I have a browser open. It seems to happen a lot at 390hz. I have a 3080 RTX graphics card. I am currently using a XL2546k without any problems. Anyone have a solution to this problem?

I would say it's either the cable or a GSYNC bug. I have been running the monitor for months using a third-party cable and have had no issues whatsoever. However, on my other 240 Hz monitor I was having flickering issues when a GPU-accelerated application was open. It was fixed by disabling GSYNC and updating the drivers. That worked fine for me because I don't use GSYNC anyway.

I had the same issue on my stream pc with other monitors. It was a GPU issue. The fix was in the NVIDIA control panel. Tried looking it up for you. If I am not mistaken its the OpenGL rendering GPU setting. Put that manually on your GPU. ( not auto detect)

I purchase the club3d displayport cable that was recommended here. I thought it fixed it then after 1 min it started flickering again.
It stops flickering when I turn off the monitor, but when I turn it on after 1 min it starts again. It only happens at 390hz because at 360hz it is fine with no flickering.

How does the backlight strobing on this monitor work? Does it introduce any input lag? I'm still trying to decide which one I want to use. I noticed very quickly that the backlight strobing causes an incredible "jittering" when circles spawn in osu!. As for FPS games, I can't even really notice the difference between the backlight strobing option being on and just having it turned off. Should I use the backlight strobing? Which is better? Is there some sort of double image issue or something with the backlight strobing? Why would circles spawning in osu! look so choppy with the backlight strobing turned on?

For anyone interested, Ozone released his 360hz monitor aswell. It is a freesync one, as the Acer Nitro. It doesn´t reach 390hz out of the box tho. It is also much cheaper here (400€).
It is called Ozone DSP25 Ultra and has an advertised 0,6ms response time (ofc not realistic).

I will not bother with this, as I am sure it won´t get any better than the other models (IPS limitations on 360hz). Plus right now my focus is on the upcoming Dual format (1440p 360hz 27 + 1080p 360hz 25 on the same monitor!) mini-Led models. Until they are out, I will not bother with anything else. Industry is (finally) evolving. Will keep only the Ozone DSP24 masterpiece and sell everything else until the new models come.

True, I won't bother either. For at least next 3 years. Time to take a big break.
Pixio also plans to release a cheap 360Hz option, at $299.

I think I found the fix for the flickering issue. Nvidia drivers above 471.96 seems to cause the flickering problems.

Anyone else not able to change brightness when VRB is enabled? The brightness is way too high for me when I put VRB on Normal. If I change the brightness (low or high) then VRB gets disabled automatically. Same thing happens with VRB on Extreme. On Extreme the brightness is OK for me but on Extreme it hurts my eyes too much so I have been playing with VRB off.
I also experienced the flickering issue with 390hz. I could maybe play five or even ten CS matches without issues but then it suddenly appeared. I event bought a high quality Club3D DP-cable but the same problem persists. I have now set 'OpenGL rendering GPU' as my GPU (it was on 'Auto Select') and the same problem has not appeared (at least not yet). The setting can be changed from NVIDIA Control Panel -> 3D Settings -> Manage 3D Settings -> Global Settings.
Anyone wondering how this monitor is for CS:GO. Its great.
