Hello guys my isp MTU size is 1500 but its 100% loss when i checked with cmd but when u reduce it to 1450 i dont get loss but the problem is when u configure your mtu to 1450 or whatever number that dont give you loss its became the same with 100% loss.

what to do?

It might be easier to simply use TCP optimizer to find the correct MTU value.

How do you check this with CMD?

Just curious. Wanted to try it myself.

This is because of IP Header noo ? if youre MTU is 1500 than you have to add -28 i think to it and need to place it on 1472

yeah when i downgrade the value to 1450 its 0 loss but when u apply the 1450 its giving loss on 1450 value. and then when u go lower 1400 its 0 loss but when u apply it its giving 100 loss even in 1400 and goes on very confusing

the correct value doesnt matter in this case because whatever number you apply its always giving you 100% loss.
