Samsung s6100 Blur and Ghosting

Post by bowldave » 02 Jul 2014, 10:41

Hi!

Ive got the samsung ue46s6100 now for 1,5 year.
Great tv but i keep on having problems with blur and ghosting.
The led motion plus on/off... trying to balance it.. filters on/off, gamma, contrast etc etc..
Last few weeks watching the World Cup Football.. Fast ball... Just blurs through the screen.. It SUCKS!

With Games its a lot less but got digital HD tv and still not great..

Firmware is up to date.

I know this is a common problem with this kind of tv.. but come on.. when i turn on my old samsung plasma (build in 2005) its even better!!

Can someone give me the best setup for this tv??? Keeping in mind its most action packed movies and fast moving objects :)
just found this site, since at samsung they can not help hopefully you can!

Thnx
Greetz Dave

We get motion blur effect because most cameras professional have slow shutter speed. Some cameras much fast shutter speed (1/2,500s or less time). ;)

Try play game on consoles (PS3, Xbox360...) to see if you get good motion blur reduced or not.

hi!

its better now, but the settings gives a really dark effect on the colours etc,
i like the bright colours but maybe that is giving me most trouble??
the difference between movie mode or dynamic is big.

Dynamic is made to pop color but you see the side effect.
Cheers.
