Copy pasting this from a post I wrote elsewhere.

  • I suspect it could be a thermal issue that's throttling you, an unstable bios version, or potentially corrupted graphics drivers.
Check your temps using HWINFO64 (post a picture of the results). If temps are the issue, reseat your CPU cooler/apply more thermal paste.
  • Update your Bios to latest version, might be stability/performance issues that you are running into
  • Use Windows 11, since you are using one of the newer Intel CPUs. Heard that the scheduler handles the high amount of cores better when gaming.
  • Install/Update all necessary drivers -> GPU driver (after using DDU), Network driver, Audio drivers, chipset drivers (Intel Management Engine as well).
  • Don't apply any random tweaks to windows. BCdedits, HPET, none of that is necessary with modern hardware. It will only make your game start acting up (desync, stutters, hitreg issues). This game does not require much tweaking/optimization on your end to function correctly if you are using good hardware, and have set it up to function as expected.
  • Make sure XMP profile is set in BIOS, fans are turned on and running. Make your CPU fan/pump/cooler, whichever, runs at max speed.
  • Have you downloaded any bloatware from your PC component manufacturers? Asus AISUITE in particular has been known to potentially cut your FPS in half. Other examples include: Armory crate, Razer Cortex/Synapse, Corsair Link, etc. I would refrain from using any of the following unless u have to.
  • Disable HAGS + Game Mode (Both known to cause stutters in Valorant with newer drivers). Also disable Delivery Optimization, Game Bar.
  • Download DriverStoreExplorer -> select option to highlight "old" drivers, then delete those
  • Don't install any bloatware: Avoid Motherboard manufacturer software (Armory Crate, AISUITE, etc.)
  • use DDU to clean reinstall Nvidia drivers
  • if you use MSI afterburner, make sure it the newest latest "beta" version- only downloaded from Guru3D. Some of the older versions now conflict with Valorant's anticheat and get flagged falsely. Be careful not to download it from a fake site (google chrome shows many of them as the first few results when searching for MSI Afterburner). I'd get it only from Guru3D. The fake installs infect your PC.
  • don't run any 3rd party background programs, make sure to close Discord, Steam, etc.
  • if you are reinstalling Windows, make sure to use a USB clean install with Media Creation Tool rather than "Fresh Start" online installation feature from Windows
  • Try different USB slots in your motherboard: I'd recommend plugging mouse into the case front panel, and keyboard in one of the back MOBO slots

if a clean reinstall of Windows doesn't work, then it might be a hardware problem, I'd start looking into any potentially failing components.

Other things you can try:
  • Clear CMOS.
  • Reseat all your components- CPU, GPU, RAM, etc.
  • Quality Power supply? Try a different one.
  • Enable Raw Input Buffer if you use a mouse with a polling rate higher than 1000Hz (4000Hz/8000Hz). Can also try this with a 1000Hz mouse to see if there's a difference. Sometimes toggling the setting back and forth (on/off, or off/on) fixes weird mouse issues ingame.

Definitely try enabling Raw Input Buffer in the game menus if you haven't already.

these processors dont work fine in W10 so if you didnt install W11 yet... you should.

Honestly- if you didn't build it yourself, then probably even more of a chance of a hardware issue.

Prebuilds are notorious for crappy build quality. They usually put the focus on the major components (GPU/CPU), but skimp on other essential ones (Ram/PSU/NVME/Case/Fans).
