Logitech G Hub Power Saving Bug! (How to fix it)
Posted: 05 Mar 2023, 06:29
There is a bug in Logitech G Hub that causes the Mouse to run in Low Power mode at all times. The bad thing, you most likely don't even notice it, because it happens automatically.
The mouse will reduce the processing power of its sensor which will decrease Polling Rate at times, where its very bad.
This will mess with your aim.
It all has something to do with the battery inside wireless logitech mice. Often times Logitech G Hub don't know at which power state the battery is, simply because the mouse has a bad battery sensor, and its doing a poor job at analyzing the battery percentage.
Logitech officially confirmed, there are problems/bugs with many wireless mice, where they show they are at wrong battery percentages. For example, I always have the problem when I charge my mouse to 100% the software keeps showing the mouse is on 20% or even less. Or 50%, but I charged the mouse for HOURS.
Then after sometime when checking Logitech G Hub again, it says its full. But then it gives me completely different numbers again...
This bug will cause problems with the automatic Power Saving mode inside the software, because it will go into power saving mode even when your mouse is at 100%.
HOW TO FIX IT?
Simply turn off "Low Battery Mode" inside your Logitech G Hub Settings. Its on "Auto" on Default.
