I'm Ruined for G-Sync

I didn't know it for sure until today. I spent a couple hours in my racing sim' Assetto Corsa and at one point I windowed out while in the pits (rather than do it from the menu system). When I came back in and started racing I was like OMG, what is happening :?: I pressed the menu button on my monitor and it had reverted to Normal. Whoa. What a difference. I'll never have a non G-Sync monitor again. Hopefully they figure it out for Oculus Rift at some point. I think I'll have to pass on consumer version one and just enjoy my Asus VG248QE a while longer.

And no more windowing out of a game :D

Indeed. For stutter-sensitive people playing stutter-prone games, GSYNC is a boon that is hard to live without.

There are a lot of stutter sensitive people over on the forums for my game. Many think it's a developer/code issue. I used to as well. I've posted about G-SYNC, but haven't got a lot of response. Wheels and racing chairs probably take priority. Too bad, because they don't know what they're missing. Except for PoWn3d_0704. He's on board. Guess he won his DIY kit in a contest here? Sweet :D
