I have an MSI Optix G24c monitor, and out of nowhere a really bad burning smell came from the back of it. Fast forward a few minutes later it starts to flicker uncontrollably. I unplugged it and didn’t use it for a few days and the problem still persists. I know it’s time is likely over and it’s a shame because it’s new but I am still making this post in case there is a small chance this can be fixed.

A bad burning smell is not a good thing. Something fried. Most likely dead. Anything is fixable but it wouldnt be worth the cost to fix it.

There are some small repairers who offer good prices for repairs, never give up. My friend told me about one in my country so they must exist in yours too...
