G-Sync blackouts

I get quite a lot of G-sync blackouts on my Viewsonic XG320U. They are especially bad when using emulators like RPCS3 and Retroarch. I've tried changing the refresh range from 48-144 to 55-144 and it didn't help.

Is there anything else that can be done? Should I have gone for a screen with a proper G-Sync chip?

Did the blackouts start happening recently? There's a recent NVIDIA driver bug;

I was having blackouts very often, until I installed the hotfix:

Oh man - and I do have 2 monitors...I'm going to check this out.

For the moment I reduced my refresh rate to 120hz and that seemed to help, although I did not do extensive testing.
