How can I tell if a TV Panel will offer true 120Hz

Just tossing around the idea to jump into 4K now that they are shipping with HDMI 2.0.

Is there an easy method to assess whether a panel can offer true 120Hz @ 1080p? (vs the marketing hype)

I'm just eyeing the LG 55UB8500 right now....

Yeah, it's so hard to tell from the spec sheets. HDMI 2.0 doesn't require 120fps, and so many displays quote the panel refresh rate instead of the input refresh rate. I'd love to have a list of true 120Hz input consumer or professional displays.

Id love to see a list of all display devices that are capable of real 100hz or higher. Including projectors, TVs and laptops, not just computer monitors.
Should we get on that? Would The big guy update the original list with our finds?
