Dell G2724D 165Hz IPS - inversion artifacts?

Hello, after the RTings published the review I decide to buy this monitor.
It has acceptable level of IPS glow. And above average contrast ratio.

Sadly it looks like it's suffering from inversion artifacts - vertical lines.

The 3 monitors I tried - LG 27GN800-B has such interlace pattern artifacts, AOC AG275QXN/EU (VA) also had them. And now Dell G2724D.

At 24Hz are somehow less visible and only on dynamic content ~ same as for example 120Hz.
At 30Hz you can see them very clearly on static image.
At 60Hz are moderately visible only on dynamic content.
At 165Hz are more subtle and appear only on dynamic content. I do notice them when I'm playing CS 2.
VRR doesn't help either.

I tried the ToastyX CRU's Vertical Total Calculator - but it didn't allow me to set the 165Hz (it appeared red and I got scared), so I did it with 144Hz -> 60Hz, but without any luck - the artifacts were still present.

According to the Nicholas Di Giovanni from Rtings (https://www.rtings.com/discussions/M4yI ... ment-80877):
"That’s interesting. I just asked our testers about this, and we didn’t notice the same thing at all. I would suggest contacting Dell’s customer service if you’re concerned about anything!"

I have 12 days to return it and ask for refund/replacement, but the intensity of this problem is the same as the other 2 monitor (one being VA). I'm starting to think that all budged high refresh rate IPS panels suffer from this more or less... which is a shame. I don't think the replacement will be any better... or could my be an isolated case?

Any advice? Otherwise for me - I guess that's it, after many months of choosing a new monitor - it's either this 165HZ Dell or the 75HZ ASUS ProArt Display PA278QV, which I have also tried (then waited 1 month for a refund) and it doesn't have any artifacts with acceptable level of IPS glow and OK contrast.

Update: the artifacts are less visible (only at 165Hz) when selecting sRGB mode. I wonder why is that?

I'm trying to get used to it at 165Hz... but my biggest problem is with more demanding games, where I can't get enough FPS.
For example 60FPS.
And since I can't stand the artifacts at 60Hz, I'm setting the monitor at 120Hz, VSync off with G-Sync on while limiting the FPS to 60.
Or setting the monitor at 165Hz and limiting the game at 55FPS. (3 * 55FPS = 165Hz).
The problem with this is trailing behind moving objects especially at the triple compensation. At least the input lag is low.
Or I could use the Nvidia's half refresh rate VSync, but this adds tons of input lag.

I will post a video of it, but on videos it's hard to see it clearly.

Pixel inversion artifacts are one thing I can't tolerate. I hope you returned that monitor and tried a different unit or a different monitor.

There is no need to mess with the monitor refresh rate as long as Adaptive sync is enabled. Just leave the monitor at the max refresh rate.

I've returned it. I also can't tolerate them, even though I've tried for 1 month, but it didn't work out in the end.
And I end up giving up the 27" 144Hz+, instead I got 27" 75Hz (Samsung LS27A600UUUXEN) without such artifacts (almost every monitor at 75Hz is pixel inversion artifacts free) and now I'm looking for a 24" 144Hz+ without artifacts.
Maybe the ViewSonic XG2431, which according to @Chief Blur Buster doesn't have pixel inversion artifacts -- too bad its too expensive in Bulgaria.
My goal is dual monitors setup.

I did that as a way to reduce the pixel inversion artifacts.

Anyway, any idea which other IPS 24" 144Hz+ is without pixel inversion artifacts? Thanks.
