It says 120Hz but it games in 60Hz

Most HDTV's can only do 120Hz for the purposes of frame rate conversion (e.g. Motionflow converting 60Hz->120Hz), and not natively directly from an external 120Hz digital.

However, there are some exceptions. See HDTV Overclocking HOWTO: True 120Hz from PC to TV.
