Anybody have more information regarding this product? I've read that it's an 8 bit TN panel, but I have no professionals confirming this.

I may be picking this up next week if it is comparable to the ROG swift in color reproduction.

also may be picking this up. Would like to see reviews first obviously. If it uses the same panel as this monitor http://www.mercateo.com/p/1231-6121(2d) ... seGeo=true which I bet it does (that is just the non gsync version) then it should be 8bit. Another thing to note, it looks like newegg is charging a $100 premium over msrp for this monitor https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0SNpP1P7GoA. I still may pick it up regardless of price, seems like a good deal to me compared to the other gsync models.

also will this monitor have ulmb?

update. Based on the manual on acers website it will have ULMB. Also, I just placed an order on newegg, I guess I will cancel it if I hear negative things about the monitor. It looks pretty good though.

I'm on the fence right now. If the price point was as advertised (399) in that video this would be the G-sync monitor to buy.

I'm going to hold my pre-order and see what happens next week.

Doing some more research I found there is a non gsync 27 inch monitor. I believe that is monitor price he was referring to at the end of the video. So this prob the correct price

No he was specifically talking about the two new G-sync monitors, one 27 inch 1080p model (144hz) and a 28 inch 4k model (60hz).

I'm hoping newegg drops the price down to 399 before the release next week. That would really be the selling point for me.

I'm thinking it is this model XB270Hbmjdprz . In the video he distinguishes between the 4k gsync vs non gsync but makes no distinction for the 27 inch monitor. Guess we ll find out what the deal is closer to release. I do know the price on overclockers was like 306 pounds which would make it about 500 usd
