After spending a week of testing fresh Windows 11 installs between usb 2/3 flash drives I’ve found that installing windows using a usb 3 flash drive causes this awful mouse movement. I’ve tested the install in multiple ports. Usb 3 is just god awful for everything. Anytime I’ve ever used usb 3 for anything I’ve always experienced a delay. Whether it was separating my mouse & keyboard into different hubs or just having my usb audio only on usb 3 it would cause a floaty feeling. Usb 2.0 flash drive windows install inserted into a usb 2 port feels amazing. Can someone please try this out & tell me if I’m going crazy. Recap, Have a usb 2 & 3 flash drive & then put windows 11 on both. When installing with the usb 2 flash drive use a usb 2 port. After you test out the mouse input compare the usb 3 flash drive install with a usb 3 port. I would also recommend not using any usb 3 ports for your Mnk or usb audio. Just wanted to add that if you use a usb 2 flash drive in a usb 3 port it would create a similar feeling.

I’ve noticed a difference in between certain installs, mostly GPT vs MBR, (UEFI vs Legacy), it’s all about what is loaded up when booting, so wouldn’t be surprised if this is the case, my last install was from a 3.0, so ill order one and see, funnily enough I feel like the last time I had good mouse movement was from my old PC’s that still had disk drives and Windows was installed from that
