So Im doing the alien invade test and this is what you get:

This is not my monitor but its looks similar.. Took pic from this post:

Im using blur buster strobe utility and no matter the settings this ghosting is always visable.. I havent tried the settings AMA and instant mode on OSD.

IS there anything I can do to get rid of this?

Does all xl z benq monitors suffer from this?

The AMA setting is precisely what affects this issue.

You can't get rid of it, but you can change it so it looks different.

- AMA off: regular ghosting because the panel isn't fast enough to change colors.
- AMA high: inverse ghosting caused by overshooting. The panel tries to reach the color target much faster than normal, so it ends up failing to stop when it has to.
- AMA premium: lol, don't even try that. It's worse than AMA high. No benefit.
- Using Lighboost: a lot less overdrive artifacts, but worse colors, screwed up gamma, only 100Hz and 120Hz, minimun strobe is 1.4ms.
- AMA high after using Lightboost: different to normal AMA high. Better or worse depending on the situation. I use this in more or less 60% of the games I play.

Yes. Unfortunately, this is unavoidable. But this is the only monitor in the market that allows me to have this many refresh rates, all with blur reduction:


If only the Asus PG278Q were capable of this....

Tried to change AMA settings, Off was NOT Good.
High is the best option for sure.

IF ONLY This ghosting didnt exist.. this monitor would be perfect

I don't notice this in games at least, thankfully.
