If I cap my fps to 140 and enable gsync in nvcp i still have tearing at the bottom because I need to enable vsync in the nvidia control panel on a per game basis and cap below my monitors refresh rate, how can I do this on minecraft? I dont see it on the nvcp.

Minecraft runs on Java (javaw.exe), so you should create profile for that.

Minecraft has its own internal frame limiter and v-sync settings, which can sometimes override external settings in the Nvidia Control Panel (NCP).
