ASUS ROG Swift Pro PG248QP 540hz or ViewSonic XG2431

I FINALLY narrowed down my monitor choice to these two lovely monitors. Obviously both very different.

Which one wins at giving a more responsive feel to it? As in, great for fighting games, FPS games, and snappy movements.

I want when the moment I touch my mouse, the movement on the monitor screen moves immediately.

Which one would you choose?

540HZ is a waste of time unless you have an RTX 4090 and even then most games won't run anywhere near 540 FPS you will also need a Ryzen 7800 X3D CPU aswell.

Get the XG2431 it can do 60 HZ and 120 HZ pretty much free of cross talk

I am very happy with the pg248qp. Def most snappy and fastest monitor I ever owned. Image quality is very good also for a tn panel. plus its nice and bright.

Keep a eye on the PG27AQDP 1440P 480hz OLED that hopefully drops august/sept. If it gets really bright I might sell the pg248qp and upgrade to the OLED.

Hi David, how is PG248QP doing below 540 FPS in highly competitive fps games?

All games I play are below 540fps. Pubg, Apex legends and Quake Live; they all feel very snappy and the ulmb2 looks amazing. It's kinda a myth that u NEED to get 540fps ingame to benefit from backlightstrobing and the 540hz.

The Backlightstrobing in combination with the 540hz/500hz still kicks like a mule even if the game runs at 250fps (Quake Live), 300fps (Apex Legends) or a range between 300fps and 550fps (Pubg) (I run the monitor at 500hz so I can use the 1728x1080 res in Pubg and Apex.)
