DLSS & Gray Zone Warfare Optimization
Posted: 13 May 2024, 13:44
Hi all -
Gray Zone Warfare (GZW) seems to be very demanding on my hardware.. and from virtually all setting combos I've tried, I can't seem to get a crisp picture. DLSS and FrameGen seem to provide the overall best balance between frame time, framerate, and quality. I'm currently getting ~144 FPS, 7ms frametime, 30-60% CPU usage, 60-90% GPU usage (yes, usage is all over the place). My chief complaint/issue now is blurry foliage. Foliage is the one graphics quality I have currently turned on 'High' (which provides marginal benefits over low/medium foliage).
Any guidance/direction/input on settings? I haven't found much on GZW specifically to date.
Setup:
RTX 4080 Super
14700k
Settings (currently):
1440p Native
DLSS ON
FrameGen ON
Low/Medium Quality
