Overclocking results into worse gamma?

Talk about overclocking displays at a higher refresh rate. This includes homebrew, 165Hz, QNIX, Catleap, Overlord Tempest, SEIKI displays, certain HDTVs, and other overclockable displays.

Overclocking results into worse gamma?

I have Acer XB273UNX, which supports official overclocking to 275 Hz. But I noticed that going to 275 Hz results in significantly worse gamma curve. Is this normal?

I've noticied this too on Asus VG279QM after enabling 280hz OC and normal 240hz. And theres a more agressive change in gamma curve if you bring down to 60hz. I would like to know the reason for that.
