How many people don't realize they have input lag?

Recently I was helping a friend figure out why they were crashing in a certain game. I directed them to driver booster on steam and had them update realtek drivers and a couple others. After the person updated, he was still crashing but thanked me for "fixing his mouse problem". I knew before he went further what he was about to say but I also wanted to hear him say it. He told me that his mouse was moving sluggishly lately and it was now back to normal. I thought about telling him about this forum but then I considered the rabbit hole it would send him down. It made me curious how many people are actually plagued with the problem and don't know it.

I think it's a matter of what someone is used to. As I progressed with "tweaking" I couldn't go back to how things previously were.

Most people don't realize they have input lag. They think they are getting old or keep changing their mouse because everyone thinks the delay between the mouse moving to the screen must be 0...

thank you for posting your settings on your github.
Now we know exactly what cannot be used when setting up a PC.

You can move on without being obsessed with me. But I guess that won't happen in the near future.

Why do most people use inexpensive DACs (usually around $10) found in TVs, phones, and tablets, rather than high-end options like this one: [Esoteric D1X Grandioso DAC](
https://krispyaudio.com.au/products/eso ... o-dac.html)?
The answer is simple: most people don't know how it should be.
