Should I enable GSYNC if I don't notice screen tearing?

With my new OLED monitor, the VRR screen flicker is annoying to me. I'd like to just turn off GSYNC so the flicker goes away. With GSYNC off, I don't notice any screen tearing in the games I play. Is there any advantage to GSYNC over no GSYNC/VSYNC other than getting rid of screen tearing? Does it make games smoother or have any other benefit OTHER than no screen tearing? Thanks in advance.

OLED VRR flicker can be quite frustrating. It's worth searching through this forum or online for potential causes and solutions. It seems to be triggered by excessive FPS fluctuation or the FPS frequently crossing the LFC threshold.
VRR does make games smoother by eliminating V-sync judder in scenarios where FPS does not match the Hz rate.

It's possible to fix VRR flicker with some OLEDs. It works with mine (it's flawless now.) See:
