This is a video showing what I'm dealing with for years. I've divided it for 3 parts.

1st part is showing how Counter Strike works like on so called "good day" for me which happen randomly and very seldom. So far I didn't find any correlation why these days happen. As you can see there are no issues at all. Good mouse tracking and movement, the enemies are slower than usual, I have no troubles with one tapping and I seem to be a really pain in the ass for my enemies.

2nd part is showing what I see when I spectate my enemies. They don't seem to experience what I do, they are "immune" to bullets, they are self-confident and not awared of being killed instantaneously. I don't consider them as good players but casual 10k-15k elo premier with average movement, gamesense and aim.

3rd part is showing what I experience on daily basis. I don't think it needs any explanation. Just watch.

Man, I really believe that the electricity in some places is not capable of supporting the specifications of our PCs/monitors. I have an Alienware 360hz AW2523HF, I recently tested 60hz in CS and was surprised that although the game was visibly "less fluid", the responsiveness was much higher, the desync was lower and the hitreg was instantaneous, how could 60hz be better than the maximum 360hz of my monitor? It's inexplicable

Browsing YouTube looking for countless solutions and comments about the problem I came across one that said something like "it's better to have unstable 75hz than 240hz with bad electricity", I'm starting to think that this is the pure truth.

I'm seriously considering buying a 75hs 1ms monitor to see the results. I've already accepted that the electricity in my house sucks. I've tried everything, even grounding the PC/monitor/modem socket individually, but nothing worked.

same. my xl2566k work like 60hz monitor, or worse. Just simple test: Set 360hz (max hz on your monitor), open any window with text/words like explorer or device manager, take this window and make fast circles with it.
on 360hz you cant see text.
set your monitor to 60hz, and make same.
now you see text.
with game set on 60hz same same feel.
picture not "smooth" but moves and visible faster.

I had already done this test, it really is not possible to read or identify anything when moving the windows at 360hz, it is as if everything was blurry and in Chinese, with 60hz we clearly have a better vision

The same applies to the game as we say, this is inexplicable, how can 60hz be smoother than 240/360? The only explanation I can think of is what I said, our electricity is incapable of pushing the energy needed to handle the maximum hz of our monitor

I honestly don't know what to do, I've even done an isolated grounding for the socket where I use the PC/monitor, this blur effect never disappears at 360Hz, and on top of that the floating mouse is still here

If you're getting bad mouse movements outside of your games... Then you have two problems with your mouse.

1. You need at least 2000+ Hz mouse
Why?; even 70 mouse microjitters/sec at 360 Hz = extra motion blur (like fast vibrating music string).
See stutter-to-blur continuum www.testufo.com/eyetracking#speed-1 (watch 2nd UFO for 30 seconds)
Anything that jitters/vibrates/stutters/judders at a high frequency = extra blur like a blurry music string = extra blur on top of MPRT & GtG.

2. Microsoft Windows 11 now reduces the framerate of window dragging
Why? Motion blur is frametime on sample and hold. Do not use window dragging tests.

IMPORTANT: Instead, use TestUFO www.testufo.com/map and throw away your cheap mouse (or fix its config), replacing it with a good mouse with proper mouse settings. Do not share USB hubs with mouse, give mouse its own dedicated USB chip. Purchase a PCIe USB card for your computer, and plug ONLY your 2000 Hz mouse into it (don't plug any other USB devices into the same USB card). Do not use 1000 Hz (jittery), but use lower than 8000 Hz (too CPU consuming), and do not share your USB hub with other USB devices! Also, if you prefer wireless, you must get a high-Hz wireless (2-4KHz wireless), most cheap wireless only run at 125Hz. IMPORTANT!

Occasionally, some gaming mice and some cheap motherboard USB chips will perform badly.
- Switch mouse (at least twice)
- Play USB roulette (Try different USB ports)
- Use PCIe USB card, avoid bad motherboard USB ports if motherboard is cheap
- Clean mouse feet
- Clean mouse pad
- Raise pollrate to 2000 instead of 1000
- Turn off "Enhance Pointer Precision" in Control Panel (causes problems)
- Keep mouse cables away from electric devices/cables/bricks (Interference can cause mouse jitter)
- Use at least 3200dpi in modern games (CS2, Valorant, Overwatch, Fortnite), reduce sensitivity to compensate, according to mouse sensitivity calculators www.mouse-sensitivity.com

Use High DPI
Games that worked best with 400-800dpi (e.g. CS:GO) are now discontinued, don't hold yourself back at 360Hz, 400dpi sabotages frame rate of 360Hz.
0.5 inch/sec mouselook at 400dpi = 200 mouselook positions per second = framerate limit of 200fps at 0.5"/sec at 400dpi.
0.25 inch/sec mouselook at 400dpi = 100 mouselook positions per second = framerate limit of 100fps at 0.25"/sec at 400dpi.
You SABOTAGE your mouselook framerate with low DPI, hurts tracking (e.g. stuttery slowtracking like spraying bullets into moving airplane) and hurts panning framerate (e.g. stuttery DOTA/LOL pans). It won't affect fastflicks or aimtrainer usually, but will hurt your continuous-track.

2000Hz (in games that support it well) + 3200dpi (for sensors that does it well) + good mousepad + good mouse + low in-game sensitivity + low pointer sensitivity = much better for most newer 2020s-era game engines
