Here are some random pursuit camera freeze frames of 27GR83Q at 240 Hz fps, 1920 px/sec.
OD OFF

OD Fast

OD Custom 60

OD Faster

In service menu monitor hides 0-255 overdrive gain for fine tuning, but we only get 3 cherrypicked levels in OSD. Perfect gain for 240 Hz fps sits exactly between Fast and Faster which is quite bad if u plan to use just ~240 Hz fps. Here is a nice chart for demonstration. Everything above optimal green line means noticeable overshoot.
"Optimal" is what ideal variable overdrive would do, but unfortunately such features are not available on most monitors. For manufacturers reading, if you're not ready for variable overdrive yet, at least give us a 100-level slider. It's a free and easy to implement feature which everyone can appreciate. Please let the user pick their overdrive just like brightness and every other setting in OSD.
