Gsync on Razer Blade 15

Hi guys,

I'm having issues with G-sync not working correctly on my Razer Blade 15 (2023) but only on the integrated display. G sync works fine on my LG C2 over HDMI.

Windows reports that the VRR range of the integrated screen is only 103hz - 240z, the lower limit of 103hz seems high for gsync? I was under the impression being a ‘Gsync Capable’ display meant that the vrr range would be greater?

Regardless if my fps is greater than 103fps or not. When Gsync is on, there is a very obvious judder. When Gsync is off, gameplay is noticeably smoother. It just doesn’t seem to work at all.

My question is does the vrr range of 103 - 240 seem right or could there be some other issue at play.

Cheers

The VRR range of 103 Hz - 240 Hz for the integrated display on your Razer Blade 15 does seem unusually narrow for a G-Sync capable display. Typically, G-Sync and G-Sync Compatible displays support a much broader range, often starting at 30 Hz or 48 Hz, depending on the panel.
