ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG FLICKERING

Hello,
I just bought the ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG, to use it as my main display to play Rust, a game that its frames go from 100-240ish during gameplay with my build.
I purchased the XG27AQDMG, because I wasn't satisfied with the Gigabyte M27QX with the frame flutation it had some tearing.
The problem is Rust needs G-sync to look smoother IMO, but the XG27AQDMG with G-Sync enabled is very bad filled with flickering, I cant stand it.
The flicker is bad when G-Sync on.
I'm now thinking about returning and need a better alternative to pair with the M27QX.
Whats the best possible choice in terms of response time, minimal screen tearing with frame drops so g-sync compatible 240hz 1440p monitor?
Thanks in advance for your time reading this.
Ps: I was told I need to get a 1440p option because of gpu scaling, 1 already have 1 1440p monitor since I'm returning the XG27AQDMG, different res in 2 monitors build, equals less performance.
