9800x3d question

Hello. A month ago I bought 9800x3d, I noticed that when I installed chipset drivers, the minimum processor state changed to 0%. When I changed the minimum state to 100% my game immediately became smoother and more responsive. Can someone explain to me what chipset driver changes it like that and should it stay at 0%? When I have it at 0% I play much worse and feel like I have v-sync, if I change it to 100 the problem disappears and I play much better, but should it be like that? Sorry for my English.

Are you using the "balanced" or "high performance" profile in Windows power options? For gaming, "high performance" is recommended.

If you want to be able to quickly switch power profiles, just make a desktop shortcut for:

C:\Windows\System32\powercfg.cpl

To be able to open that configuration window quickly.

never mind that. but is it normal that the chipset drivers for the 9800x3d changed the minimum processor state to 0%? because I don't know what is better for this processor, minimum processor state 0% or 100%?

I mean of course only using for competitive games like valorant and cs2 and the smallest possible input lag. In this case leave it as the chipset driver set to 0% minimum state? or change it to 100%?

0% is better for power saving.

But again, did the driver change the "high performance" profile to use 0%?

Yes, chipset driver change to 0% in all power plans, balanced and high perfomance is set auto to 0% minimum processor state. When i dont install chipset drivers then balanced minimum are 5% and high perfomance 100% as it has always been, that's why I don't understand at all if it's supposed to be like this..
